Great hotel, fantastic food, including breakfast. Room very comfortable and cosy. Staff excellent, will definitely stay again, we will return in late spring early summer when the flowers are in Bloom. I think it will be stunning. See you all again soon. Thank you.

If you want a small hotel with excellent service, comfort and high quality food then I fully recommend Howfield Manor. We have enjoyed our last 2 Christmases here and found the overall experience exactly what we wanted. First class food and service and a character room with lots of history. We wanted peace and quiet and this is exactly what...

I booked this hotel as a birthday present for my husband as I never know what to buy him but I misjudged how far away from home it was - as it took us almost 3 hours to get there, nor did I anticipate how awful the weather was going to be over the weekend we decided to visit. So...

Stayed overnight, room was clean but dated, bathroom a little odd as it all seemed to be moulded plastic. Bed was comfortable though and I slept fine. Food on the other hand was excellent, starter, main, desert, breakfast, I couldn't fault any of it. Staff friendly, free wifi and parking.

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed and nice sized room. Not far from the centre of Canterbury , but you will need to drive. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Nice grounds if you fancy a walk. Can't comment on the restaurant as we dined out

We had our wedding here on New Year's Eve. From The moment that we viewed the venue until being the last ones to leave every single member of staff were amazing, Hayley the wedding planner was brilliant and was a huge support every step of the way. The venue is beautiful the food was out of this world and every...

We went here for my cousins wedding & decided to book a room & stay over. Check in was easy, staff were friendly & the rooms were more than ample for what we needed. It was a bit noisy at times but then there was a wedding on. The food was extremely good considering they were catering for so many,...

We stayed here for two nights on business, the rooms are ok but the restaurant service can be extremely slow. We ordered breakfast on the second morning, after waiting nearly 30 mins we had no choice but to leave the hotel or risk being late for our morning appointment. Disappointing.

We spent one early January night in this wonderful hotel, full of character and charm. The staff were excellent : very attentive and helpful, and the full breakfast was magnificent. Value for money was incredible (£60 for double room including breakfast) but maybe this was because the hotel is in the middle of a major room refurbishment programme ? Lovely...

We arrived on a cold winter's evening to this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and as it was between Christmas and New Year we expected it to be quiet. It WAS quiet but we were told they were full up that night. we didn't hear any other guests that day. We didn't eat at the hotel that night as...
