Visited using a gift voucher . Really helpful team rang before to check we were coming as had to postpone once already. Food was excellent and booking in place to keep numbers under control. The room was fine not big but ok just had to turn the radiator down ! Shower was fantastic. Didn’t get out to the grounds but nice view from restaurant, would go back again

Just popped in before the imminent lock up, very busy with lots of escapees with the same thought in mind! Staff always pleasant, clean loos and delicious food. Ambiance always welcoming the hospitality seeps out of the walls. Amazing Caesar salad, super soup & tasty fishcakes.

We arranged to use a 2-night gift voucher at this hotel and it was quite good. The hotel has a good position and exhibits an Edwardian charm. Our room was pleasant and looked out seawards. The furniture and fittings were rather old fashioned but in keeping with the overall setting. The Covid precautions appeared well advised and implemented and all the staff were cheery and efficient. The served breakfast was good including the usual cooked choices. The dining room was rather like a wedding setting (lots of cream coloured furniture) but there were no table decorations. We had dinner on one night. The service was efficient and delivered with pleasant chat although I'm still not sure that staff face shields are the best protection when staff are bending over you to serve. The food was ok from a wide range menu; we chose seafood - smoked salmon starters then a sea bass and a plaice. The range of desserts was a bit limited for our choices so I had a large sundae. The wine list was reasonable with a perfectly satisfactory range of choices. Over all we had a pleasant stay.

We had a great time at the Sea Marge the staff were all lovely and very helpful, our room was clean just a little tired. We enjoyed the food but expected more and was a little disappointed for a hotel of this standard! But overall a lovely stay.
