We came back to Danum house, after our first visit in October 2010. Still as quirky, but v good choice of breakfast, more than reasonable rates and will be returning when we can. Made to feel v welcome.

Visited Archies amazing house on Bank Holiday weekend and we had a wonderful stay. Danum house is so full of history and character and very comfortable and cosy. The gardens are beautifully kept and the house is well maintained. The breakfast was more than enough and our host took the time to chat with us and Archiestown is a very...

Stayed here in October 2011 as a weekend break with my fella. Loved it, it's quirky but the owner was so welcoming and breakfast was more than generous. Hoping to stay again in August 2016 for a few days for my birthday. It's tucked out the way so it's quiet and free parking outside the house.

We stayed at this B&B again because it is low cost and very convenient for the beach. You can walk to the beach is less tan 10 minutes. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are good. The rooms have a shower or bath and have a t.v. and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is good and the owner...

This sumptuous guest house is a few yards walk to the beach at Overstrand, it is a beautiful historic house with a superb breakfast room and several wonderfully appointed double and family rooms. Archie, the proprietor, is hospitable and welcoming but, it is a tranquil and amazing place where you are allowed to enjoy the place in your own way....

We had an excellent night in this B & B, shame it was only one night. A quaint house built in 1818, full of character as is the Host, first class full English breakfast, recommended by my husband. It only has 5 bedrooms which adds to the charm. The front garden is paved, filled with numerous pots of plants and...

Over the past 15 years I have stayed at Danum House almost every year - although there have been a few years that we have missed. If my children hadn't grown up I'm sure we would still be going at least once a year although I might be able to persuade my youngest son to come back with me very...

Just five minutes walk from the beach. A nice village location with a shop, post office a pub and a hotel that serves very nice cream teas. An...

Wow, this place is a gem! We visited for 2 nights and wish it had been a week. We had room one, the family suite, which has a double, two singles, a sofa bed, semi-circular window seat and a proper dressing table in an alcove. The en suite is a comfortable size, with shower, basin and loo, and was extremely...
