This was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end! The hotel is very preeety even on a damp and wet day and it is in the New forest so we had a lovely walk. We were only staying for one night but straight away the reception staff made us welcome and showed us to our room,so helpful and professional.the... More

We had a lovely time at the Woodlands Lodge Hotel. The location was beautiful and the hotel was very pleasant. We loved our room and were lucky to have a bath and shower in our room. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Although it was busy the first night we stayed, the staff were still very happy to help. The... More

We stayed here for one night to see the colours of Autumn in the New Forest. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent. My Dover sole was beautifully cooked. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the inclusive breakfast was really freshly cooked and delicious. All in all a relaxed dog friendly... More

The hotel is especially dog friendly. On arrival there was a blanket, towel and bone for her in the room! Our mini-suite had a conservatory fo her to sleep in, with doors to the gardens which led directly into the forest. The bar and second dining room were designated for those of us who wanted to keep their dogs with... More

We choose this hotel to have our wedding as they cater for smaller groups and offer a good value package. The owners Rib & Imogene are brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We had access to the room the day before and there was no hurry to clear away. Have I mentioned the food? Amazing! Andy the head chef... More

We arrived on Wednesday morning and the lady on reception stored our bag for us and was able to issue us with a voucher for reduced price entry tickets for Exbury Gardens and steam railway. We were very happy with room... More

We stayed here last week just for one night. Had a great room, no 1! our room was very comfortable and spacious and food was beautiful, great a la Carte menu. Only comment was thought restaurant needed a little TLC, the ambience didn't reflect the standard of the food. Table cloths would have added some warmth and covered the formic... More

Six of us plus our three dogs have just returned from a wonderful weekend away at this hotel. The hotel is three star and exceeded our expectations, Our first floor rooms were well equipped and very clean and the public areas were light, airy and comfortable. The beautiful hotel gardens open on to the New Forest itself and we were... More

We booked at this hotel as we had read so many positive reviews here. I'm afraid our experience was far from good. We stayed in room 12. The room itself is pleasant. Large, and with nice thick curtains. Other furniture is slightly at odds with the decor - and seems to have been reclaimed from the 1980s. A dated, and... More

Dear BobbyVam We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us. I am very sorry you experienced poor housekeeping behind the drawers. I wish you would have told us about your concerns whilst with us, we could have replaced the radio and immediately rectified the housekeeping problems. I am surprised that you found the bed uncomfortable... More
