Eagle Plains Hotel is Eagle Plains! The facility serves as a truckers' stop, but they also have a garage, helicopter, fuel and many other things to act as an oasis for highway travellers where there is nothing for hundreds of miles. The place is old, but has a certain charm. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean -...

Eagle Plains has a great view. The room are old but clean. There are no microwaves in room and wi-fi cost $5. 00. It is a bit pricy for what ones get. Service and cordiality could be improved, especially during winter: access to car plugs was limited and not shoveled. .

Loved the experience. Food was delicious, staff friendly and the drinks stiff. It's a remote location that and if your expecting high-speed internet and are used to having your toenails manicured, then you're in the wrong place. It's the north.

This restaurant and hotel have no competition within 400 km., but they do an outstanding job in accommodating their guests! Our overnight stay with a group of 18 celebrating the summer solstice, was a pleasure, among friendly staff. The bar was properly casual, and being carved an excellent roast of beef, perfectly cooked, with all the trimmings, plus a salad,...

We visited this hotel with a group of 20 people. You don't really have the choice and they know it. The food is the minimum we can expect, not more. The room is basic, but it was clean. The service is friendly. But it's not acceptable to ask $5 for an internet access... that is really slow additionally. If you...

When you're driving the Dempster, there's no other game in "town" as you drive north towards Inuvik. The Eagle Plains Lodge enterprise includes a hotel/motel, campground, bar, restaurant, gas station, vehicle service center - everything the tourist or truck driver needs at the halfway point along this remote highway. My friend and I were expecting overpriced food of middling-to-dismal quality....

Stayed here with my family. Charming, quaint place with million dollar views. The building itself is old, musty smelling and outdated, which only adds to the character of the place. Food was "Yukon" priced, but okay. The huge downside was the staff members, except the male server in the restaurant, who was nice. The younger lady at the reception first...

I didn't have high expectation after reading reviews here but it turned out to be pretty good. The room was old, but clean, good enough for one night stay. We ate at the cafeteria, the service was so so but the food was good. We also fixed our flat tire and washed our car here. This is the only place...

Halfway to the middle of everywhere and nowhere, this was clean, warm, dry, quiet, and the staff were so accommodating. The views all around the hotel are amazing, having gas and food available all in one place where you can stay is perfect. Thank you so much I look forward to coming back!
