I loved hotels furnishing, lovely old style house! Sadly our visit was short, hotel and surroundings are worth to stay longer. Breakfast was good, especially warm buns were delicious. We had a shared bathroom and toilet but it is not a problem in hotel this small.

Or stay for several nights in this hotel from 1923. Unike location near the tourist Center, with art gallery and Center for aboriginal lapp history. Hiking trails, unique botanic area and fishing available.

My brother and I stayed three nights at the Storjord Hotel. We were there for the walking. Stunning surroundings and great walking, though end of May still early and some difficult hiking high up. Camilla and Petr gave us a great welcome. It's a homely place without frills - no TV and no minibar which gets a big Yes from...

Fantastic hotel. The owners/staff are welcoming and very hospitable. They provide great information about the hotel, it's history and surroundings. Food is partially locally produced at the farm the hotel is located at, and served communally. The place is very well preserved/restored to it's 1930's style. In the vicinity one can go salmon-fishing, visit an art-gallery, see an Arborium (tree-collection),...

This might be the most authentic old hotel in Norway. It is built in 1923, and the interior looks like it is almost untouched since then. This also means no Wi-Fi and no televison! The hotel is run by a very friendly couple that are also great cooks. We spent a night, but would have loved to stay longer.

Me and my husband stayed for 1 night in July 2013. What a lovely oldfashioned hotel. We just loved it. Felt like a visit to my grandmothers house. We had a charming doubleroom with ensuite bathroom. Slept so well in this quiet hotel. Outside - fields and trees and a river near by. We had a lovely dinner of local...

We stayed for two nights at this charming hotel. The hotel is run by a very friendly couple. It was originally built in 1923. The food was great, with an emphasis on local ingredients, for example reindeer sausage from Saltfjellet. For dessert we had a lovely homemade chocolate cake. Way better than the food you get at the cafeterias along...
