There are many reasons why our stay was a perfect experience. The room was comfortable, with beautiful views to the coffee-plantations on the hills. The food was simply delicious. The coffee tour was both interesting and authentic. The family and staff were welcoming and friendly. The butler even knew our eating habits after three days. Such a personal service -...

We stayed at Guaybal for one night in October and it was a great experience. We arrived by the end of the afternoon. I would advise you to take a cab, as it's still a long walk from the main road. The rooms are simple, but confortable and there is hot water (not always the case in Colombia). Dinner was...

In terms of flora and fauna, this coffee hacienda is a little piece of heaven on earth. In terms of people, they are the friendliest and most welcoming hosts you can think of. Especially the butler ( he does his work with so much dignity and thoroughness that you feel taken back to a 19th-century mansion) is an amazing person....

The place is amazing, quite, we had a great room, clean, the food was awesome, the tour really interesting. After having lunch with the other visitors, we enjoyed being outside near the pool. and...

I stayed here on my way through the coffee region and it was fantastic. Beautiful setting, the owner (Jorge) and his family are so welcoming, delicious food and excellent staff. The coffee tour guide (I can't remember his name!) was the best I've met and we were able to go into the fields and pick our own coffee beans, learn...

We spent two days here enjoying the great hospitality of jorge and his family. We subscribed for a very interesting tour among the coffee plants, teaching us the production of coffee from collecting the beans, in which we took part, to tasting the final product. It was impressive how the production seemed ecological with no chemical elements and all the...

Spending two nights here was a highlight of my time in Colombia. One of the most beautiful, relaxed, and enchanting places I’ve ever been. The hacienda is near the village of Chinchiná. To get there from Salento, I took a bus to Pereira. From Pereira there are two bus companies that go to Chinchiná: Flota Occidental and Arauca. Once in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We have coffee plantation, and tours every days. This place is just kick back and be pampered, by all means come here. You will be glad you did. The upper floor has a large wide full length balcony/walkway that has chairs & small tables for sitting, relaxing, playing cards, etc. Overall very comfortable and very quiet. There are a myriad of tropical birds about as well, which always is a plus in my mind. The pool is also a refreshing way to finish off a day...or maybe even start one. The views are beautiful, as you can see 360 degrees of rolling hills in the foreground as well as mountains in the background. Many different shades of green, punctuated with varying colors from the many types of flowering tropical plants that also call this place home. Is the paradise. ... more   less
