Stayed here for a week, Elizabeth and Frank are both very friendly which made everything feel homely especially the home made biscuits that were put in the room everyday. Frank's breakfast was very good and filling which were enough to carry us through the day. Comfortable bed and clean; look out for the kingfisher on the river managed to see...

Stayed 4 nights while doing the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. So glad we found this lovely B&B. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed the great breakfast before setting off into the hills. Superb hospitality in a wonderful setting. The village pub is wonderful with lovely staff and great reasonable meals. Can't wait to plan our next trip.

Evening and day meals on our walks and trips were well worth it and varied. Walks abound. Even without maps. Sits in the conservatory with tea and biscuits. MMM! Sleeps so...

We had a very comfortable en-suite room with super views over the river. Everywhere was spotlessly clean with lots of little extras in the bathroom. Frank looked after us very well and cooked a superb breakfast. The village people were very friendly and the local pub was excellent for an evening meal.

Would have loved to stay longer (we had two nights). Frank and Liz couldn't have offered a warmer welcome, and a delicious breakfast! Every comfort is catered for in their comfortable rooms and well decorated rooms. The riverside setting is magical. Will definitely be one to return to.

This B&B is located right on the banks of a beautiful river. The room was clean and the on-suite was first class, with both a bath and separate shower. Breakfast was filling and the owners were very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone.

Can only echo what other reviewers have said. the location is great for the dales and the Lakes are no too far away. We were only there for one night as we had a birthday party for a local farming freind. However we wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed some walks. Liz and Frank were welcoming and freindly....
