Stayed here for two nights in June 2016 whilst doing the Yorkshire three peaks and this was my first B&B...I hope the rest are as good. There was a party of 7 and we took over the whole B&B. The hosts were very welcoming and basically gave us the run of the place. The location next to the river was...

Stayed one night in this lovely B & B. Immediately impressed with its appearance and the standard of cleanliness - it simply sparkles. The view over the river is delightful and it was lovely to observe the local wildlife over breakfast which was top class.

We stayed here for three nights in April. The hosts, Elizabeth and Frank, were both very welcoming which made everything feel like home from home. Frank's breakfast was excellent, very filling and enough to carry us through the whole day. Very comfortable bed and clean everywhere with superb views of the river from the windows of our room (River View)....

What a lovely B & B!!! Looking forward to going back! Absolutely stunning setting right on the River. So peaceful. Elizabeth met us and gave us a VERY warm welcome. What a lovely lady! We stayed in "The Church View" room which was perfect with lots of little extras. It's so often "the small things that count". Loved the bath!...

Enjoy a peaceful stay and a good breakfast at River Cottage in Burton-on-Lonsdale, that has a few shops and a friendly pub serving lunch and dinner. Request a room overlooking the river. The village is a short distance from a Southern Lake District gem, Kirkby Lonsdale, often missed in eagerness to get further into the Lake District. Kirkby Lonsdale is...

Stayed 4 nights while doing the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. So glad we found this lovely B&B. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed the great breakfast before setting off into the hills. Superb hospitality in a wonderful setting. The village pub is wonderful with lovely staff and great reasonable meals. Can't wait to plan our next trip.
