We were a group of 11 people who had booked the entire home stay for 4 days 3 nights. It was tour planned for my son's birthday and we were all looking forward to a good experience overall. But the moment we stepped in we realised, The rooms were shabby with spider webs all around, bathroom doors and room doors damaged. The beds were making cranky sound and the bed sheets had all sort of stains. No basic room service available like drinking water, toilet soaps or towels. Food quality terrible as we noticed the oil used to cook was not fresh at all. We did not even get one day breakfast because the family(Hosts) had to go out for a function. We were kept starving as there isnt a good place to eat around the home stay. No basic recreational facility available, hot water not available. Absolute no view from the rooms or the estate. Overall very bad experience. Not worth the money paid at all.

We were a group of 7 people and had booked 2 rooms for 1 night. Rooms were huge and clean, beds were comfortable, beautiful garden around good homely food and most amazing couple as host, what else one needs for a short and sweet trip! Post breakfast we were delighted to have nice Avocados and a homemade pineapple jam. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at dreamland homestay. I on behalf of all my friends would like to thank Uncle and Aunty for their warm hospitality.

Been to this place in June 2010 with a few collegues of mine.... When we initially spoke to the Resort manager, they said they can easily accomodate 35 ppl. Finally we had about 24 confirmed to visit. Lemme put it in a simple way... 3 Rooms which can accomodate 4 ppl each...and we ended up 8 ppl in Each... With just 3 restrooms!!... Food... Pathetic.. We requested they serve pork and set initial expectation that Food was of the essence... Pork was uncooked and bad on more than one occasion... The response of the staff as well was lukewarm at its best... Not much to look around except for Iruppu falls...which is filled with ppl.. its like the only watering hole in 100 Sqmiles!!!! The surprise!!! On the day of check out the Manager beef's up the price by 250 bucks per head cos she's cooked Pork worth 5 Kilos (We had difficulty emptying 1 plate of it)... Overall... A very fogetful experience... and really look forward to NOT GOING HERE OR NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE who thinks Food is god given!!!

It was our 2nd marriage anniversary.. Myself & my wife went to Irupu water falls 100KMS from Mysore. We went without making any reservation as it was week day (monday).. near by Irupu falls we could find 5-6 home stays but finally decided to stay in Dreamland homestay.... Hosts of dreamland homestay were excellent in their service. Food(Indian) was amazing & we got more than what we paid... I generally don't write any reviews.. but after visitng this place & this home stay got started just one year back & doesn't have any information on any of the websites... may be this can help travellers visiting Coorg...(madikeri)..hillstation & coffee plantation place in south india... Just to write review i gave my screen name also as coorg_dreamland... :)..so it has impacted so much for me...
