Their nice website (one of the few in Panama) was my impetus to stay there. That plus it was in the right place (traveling from Panama City, on our way to stay at Isle Grande for 4 nights). Angel made 'points' with her email communications; also, the price was right. Although situated on a lovely cove on the water, with...

This is a great deal with a perfect panama feel. Open air bar/resturuant overlooking the carribean right on the reef. Great sundeck and hamocks right over the ocean. A very relaxing getaway for any couple or family. The staff was amazing and very accomodating. Many of the other hotels in panama felt a little dangerous or unkept but this hotel...

A unique setting (litterally on the water in Portobelo bay), a decent website (contrary to most Panamean hostels) but TERIBBLE rooms... Probably the dirtiest place I've been - and I had my lot of backpackers' hostels. That place is not even close to pretending being a "hotel", whatever their website might pretend. Nobody seemed to be in charge, nor to...

The Octopus Garden was the perfect completion to our adventure weekend. It came highly recommended and lived up to our expectations after an exhilarating day of canopy ziplining and horseback riding nearby. The location is divine. The hotel is on the water. Whether you are swinging in the hammocks, eating at the bar or lounging on the large wooden deck,...

Rey picked us up at the Cruise ship dock and brought us to the dive shop. We prearranged the dive trip online about a month before with Angel. We almost gave up trying to get a dive in off the cruise ship but Angel came through for us. Had a great 2 tank dive, it was my husband and I....

I'll start off by saying that the people who run this hotel are some of the nicest and accommodating people we have experienced and we have traveled extensively throughout Panama for a few years now. The laid-back and welcoming vibe was top-notch. Rey was very helpful and Angel was an ever present beacon of sunshine even though it rained while...

Spent the better part of our three week honeymoon at the Octopus Garden and had a blast. Angel, who runs the hotel and bar has lived in Panama for many years now, is bilingual and very friendly and helpful, just like the rest of the staff. The hotel can arrange snorkeling (spectacular reef right in front of the hotel), scuba...

My trip was with my brother in law who is also a music artist. I was the Interpreter on this excursion and was very pleased to get away from the night life in Panama city and relax at this Hotel. The food was excellent, the Octopus plate was something that Klay convinced me to try but I couldn't stop raving...
