What a gorgeous place! The moment you step in time is standing still, the owner told us that this place is almost 1000 years old... it is beautiful and stylish, fantastic Italian breakfast - don't miss the fresh Ricotta cheese - being served on the terrace over looking unbelievable view

Words cannot express the beauty of "Our Castle", as my daughter Sarah calls Rocca Lorenzio B&B. You can expect spotless rooms, wonderful breakfasts, a well kept pool and a very gracious host. This beautiful old villa has been restored but has not not lost its medieval flavor. It is nestled in the hillside that overlooks a valley covered with fig...

We read very varying reviews before booking this place but have to say that we were very happy with our decision to stay at Rocca Lorenizo. We found the owners to be most accommodating and friendly. They were generous with information (limited English) and also the local wine which they were keen to share with us. Although some of the furniture...

An interesting place to stay, not sure if the owners want it to be a hotel or a B&B, anyhow its the only place with a pool in the area, so I decided to stay. The owners have created a special home to share, but I am not sure they want you to. You are thrown the rule book on...

Oh dear...... Rocco Lorenizo should, and could, be such a wonderful place. The approach to the 1000 year old castella through electric gates along a driveway featuring potted plants creates a good first impression. The view from the parking area, and indeed throughout, is stunning. Mountains and valleys as far as the eye can see. The friendly owner came to...

Fabulous place , beautiful setting and a great host . Going back next month once again as visiting local friends who thought the place was magical . You could not ask more from such beautifully restored old building .

We stayed at Rocca Lorenizo based on a recommendation of a friend and we were pleasantly surprised! Upon our arrival, we first noticed the incredible door and knocker. We walked in and were breathless at the view. The valley of Sulmona in front of our dressed by an olive grove. We were welcomed with such hospitality I never wanted to...

Rocca Lorenizo is located just outside Pacentro town and overlooks some of Italy's most beautiful scenery. This villa has so much potential but the hosts and hospitality (or lack off) really lets it down. The old, dated decor and cobwebs could be forgiven if there was a sense of welcome however the property appeared to be cold, dusty and uninviting....

A beautiful location for a Bed and breakfast unfortunately let down by its hosts unwillingness to realise the potential of such a great venue. We stayed for two nights (weekend) in June as part of 4 other couples attending a wedding in the next village, the entire villa was taken by our group. The villa only has 5 bedrooms and...

Have recently returned from 2 night stay at Rocca Lorenzia with our 4 month old son and 4 other couples, whilst attending a wedding in the nearby village of Pacentro. The villa itself is lovely, and in the most beautiful surroundings (stunning panoramic views of the surrounding snow capped mountains, despite the 28degree sunshine). It is a short (but very...

“In all honesty, none of the rooms are very nice. They are all dark and creepy. If I had to recommend one, I would say the bedroom on the ground floor by the entrance was the best value for money as it was as nearly big as the 'suites' and was the only room with natural light.”
