Ann the owner was very friendly and helpful, great for the kids to play with the animals the fire was amazing once it was started!!(bring fire lighters if you don't want to spend 2 hours trying to start it like me)..A serene place to visit, my family loved it! I will definitely be back.

I booked this trip as a very last minute surprise for my partner, the two children and the dog. I was initially drawn to the idea of staying in a gypsy wagon, but when I called the owner Ann, she advised me that there was no way we would all fit!! (the children are very young so the option of...

We stayed for three nights in a small gypsy wagon and once we had met the owner, Ann, settled in, lit our fire and opened up a bottle of wine, we really felt ourselves relax and slow down. Despite reading previous negative reviews about the owner, we actually got on really well with her and found her to be very...

We loved the farm and the gypsy camp. Great location, good clean accommodation and very relaxed. Camp fire, gypsy caravans, animals roaming around and you can order fresh bread, croissants and newspapers on a sunday morning. What more could you want?! We went as two families, each with a toddler and it was the perfect escape from city life.

I've just returned from two nights in the "gypsy camp" at Bouncers Farm and had a great time. we stayed in the gypsy caravans which are separate from the camp site itself. they were very clean and cosy with the benefit of a proper toilet and shower block attached to the farm house. the details we received when booking meant...

I can definitely see Bouncers Farm not being everyone’s idea of a great camping “resort”. Thankfully, I was well prepared from reading these reviews and our one night there (my son’s treat for his birthday and my first camping experience in many a year) couldn’t have gone better, to be honest. In terms of pitches, Bouncers is tiny. My boy,...

My wife found this place with these lovely caravans and thought it would be a fantastic surprise for our friends when they visit but also for their son's 9 birthday, so she paid the deposit. All the 4 children were very excited and this week, the owner confirmed the arrangements on Tuesday to which we replied, culminating in an agreement...

Beautiful site, great to have a real camp fire in lovely surroundings. Tents have their own grassy nooks away from each other. Its a small farm as well as a campsite, with pigs, chickens, sheep, geese and a very old orchard. Very welcoming.

It's easy to see why there are very polarised views on Bouncers. Much is wonderful about it - other elements are really problematic. The site itself is beautiful - ideal for campers who want a more natural experience and don't mind things being a little basic (e.g. no hot water). The owner is friendly - but rather quirky and erratic...

Having seen the previous negative reviews I was a little apprehensive. Our reservation had been made by the person I was going with before I read the reviews.... My apprehension was entirely unnecessary! I visited Bouncers with my 12 year old son, 3 of his friends (also 12) and the father of one of the other boys. The weekend was...

“I didn't get a look at the chicken shed but the Foxglove is perfect for families and the private camp site looks amazing if you have older children or are staying with a group. However I really want to come back with the dog and try out a wagon!!”
