Have visited here a few times and each time the food and service are second to none. The food is always great and you get great value for money. Never stayed in the hotel however have looked round the rooms and they look good value.

Recently decorated rooms, we had a family room which was sufficient for 3 adults, plenty of space and clean. Good sized bathroom. Wondered about the noise from the road but no problem once door closed at night. Very helpful and friendly staff with an excellent restaurant and breakfast

Had a wonderful time stayed for one night. Breakfast was amazing very helpful and good staff. Following an evening out we returned to the bar for drinks before bed and the barmaid was very welcoming. All staff were more than happy to help and advise on things when we asked

We stayed here last year and decided to return this time on a weekend. Our stay was just as perfect as before. Excellent food, very comfortable room and the staff couldn't be nicer. This is a great place to relax and feel totally comfortable. Already booked to go back.

To top off a very comfortable stay the hotel arranged an early breakfast for us as we had to head off early before the restaurant opened. They were then kind enough to post to me my suit that I had left behind in the room! Thank you all for your help.

We were struggling to find a restaurant open on a Sunday with our two kids, and we found the yorkway motel. We had starters which were to die for, drinks including wine, 2 kids meals and main meals which everything was home made and freshly prepared and yet it only cost £50 for everything an absolute steal! This has to... More

Plus points – Pleasant, modern décor. Nice bar/lounge/dining area. Comfortable, large rooms (double + single bed) Twin/Double rooms are a bit smaller. As its motel style accommodation, its an outside walk to the main reception etc. but this is partly under cover. 1.5 miles to Pocklington. £5 taxi each way. A very pleasant, small town. Minus points – room &... More

Having chosen York as a middle point meeting place for a family reunion, we needed a reasonably priced place to stay, as we had a luxury hotel for the Sunday night. Yorkway did not disappoint. In terms of comfort and friendly service, it stood up well in comparison. The inclusive breakfast was substantial and well cooked. Although very close to... More
