Id definitely like to come back. The rooms were very clean, the staff here is very friendly and willing to help. The food here was amazing. I stayed with a group so we had two meals a day and the restaurant is probably one of the better ones around San Ignacio. If you're in Cayo I can't recommend this place...

Three of my friends and I stayed at Clarissa Falls for 5 nights and I couldn't have been happier with the beautiful location, service, food, and accommodations. Ms. Chena, the owner of the property, goes out of her way to make you feel at home and has an amazing story to share. She worked in the US as a housekeeper...

We stayed there for 3 nights, including New Year's Eve. So much more peaceful than being in town. It's a beautiful setting and you couldn't ask for a more gracious and accommodating host than Ms. Chena. Our kids (age 7 and 10) just wanted to run around the grounds and play with the puppies and kittens, but we dragged them...

We arrived in the San Ignacio area late in the afternoon and since it was the off season we had not made any reservations. The town itself has many options for hotels but we are the back to nature types so the town did not really suit us. We decided to keep driving and soon came upon Clarissa Falls. We...

I stayed at Clarissa Falls with my wife for 4 nights. We arrived early in the day before our hut was ready. We relaxed by the water for about an hour before being shown to our space for the next few days. The hut was simple, had one room and a modest bathroom. We spent minimal time in the room...

We just returned from an amazing trip to Belize with our 3 year-old daughter, Lily, which started at Clarissa Falls! Chena and her family created the perfect home-base for us to introduce our pre-schooler to adventure travel: comfortable yet rustic cabanas, a river for swimming steps from our room, amazing local and lovingly-prepared food served in a warm and welcoming...

The resort is beautiful, simple, run by caring, intelligent people. Chena, who manages the place is a western-educated traditional Mayan herbalist. If you want to understand the local ecosystem, Chena's nature walks are for you. She and her crew will arrange tours, suggest destinations, will spend time to figure out which of the many amazing options (tubing, caves, kayaking, Mayan...

We wanted to be more adventurous this trip. So, AS PLANNED, we took the bus from Belize City to Clarissa Falls. We got off at the Clarissa Falls bus stop and began our one mile walk to the resort, because we traveled with backpacks, this was very doable. If one had luggage, I would advise alternate transportation. During our walk,...

The ranch is amazing. If you drive here from the Belize airport, keep driving until you think you must have passed it, and then drive another 5 miles. The location is perfect; right on the river. We were greeted first by horses, cows, geese and ducks. Our 3 year old daughter was in heaven. Next, Chena greeted us with a...

Staying at Clarissa Falls Resort, a beautiful quiet jungle hideaway on the Mopan River,we were treated to a comfortable, unique thatched roofed hut with a hot-shower bathroom. Our stay was delightful and enhanced by excellent food, Warm Friendly Owners, Ms Gena and Mark, and easy accessibility to several Mayan ruins. We especially liked supporting a local historic Belize working ranch that...
