We visited Clarissa Falls twice in a week to enjoy the good, very tastfull food, the wonderfully fresh fruitjuices, the peaceful environment and the wonderful river. Rent tubes (very good price) and let Chena pick you up after an hour down the river... If you are looking for a place to stay or only to enjoy the food or river,...

We stayed at Clarissa Falls about 2 weeks ago. It was a shot in the dark after reading some reviews online. It turned out to be a great find. We used a shuttle service (TeddyBear) from the Belize airport out to Clarissa Falls. Chena met us and treated us like we were old friends (after only a few back and...

Stopped in after a long day on a motorcycle. The owner (whose name I sadly forget) was working the resturante and was just fantastic. Told me the story of the place, recommended a swim in the river, provided fantastic tacos, and was just wonderful company (as well as a few friendly dogs). After lunch I swam in the river, accompanied...

I was part of a small group from the United States kayaking a short stretch of the Mopan River that day. We stopped for lunch along the river at the Clarissa Falls Resort and had the most delicious, plentiful, authentic and satisfying meal of our entire week-long trip around Belize. This is a hidden gem, well-worth the effort to reach...

Clarissa Falls is the perfect location outside of San Ignacio to enjoy nature. Our Palapa was very clean and comfortable. We saw Toucans, mot-mots, blue tanagers and many other birds while eating. Chena is a lovely woman who truly cares about making your experience enjoyable. She can organize tours and transport for you as well. She drove us to the...

My husband and I stayed at Clarissa Falls in March 2017. We chose this place because we are nature lovers and also wanted to visit Tikal. Both the people and the place exceeded our greatest hopes. Pure heaven! We saw toucans, mot-mots, and a basilisk lizard. The pets on the ranch, dogs, ducks, a peacock, etc. were delightful. We went...

We didn't stay at Clarrisa falls, but Chena did let us here house in San Ignacio when our other accommodation fell through. So review is to say a big thank you to her for all her support. We did go up to the resort which looks beautiful. Chena helped us out when we were in difficulty and even came round...

Quiet location in beautiful surroundings. Near San Ignacio and Mayan monuments. Great owner who will help with day trips (ATM, Xunantunich, Tikal) and everything else. I recommend for a peaceful stay in the countryside near the Mayan monuments with perfect service. Thank You Chena !

Off the beaten track, between San Ignacio and Benque. A beautiful place overlooking the Mopan River Ms Chena is an amazing person...so knowledgeable about local flora, fauna, and the Mayan Culture. She operates a nice li'l restaurant with a great variety of local foods. My favorite is Spagetti Clarissa Falls prepared with a good olive oil, garlic and parma cheese....

Clarissa Falls is to the West of Belize. It is 4.5 Miles past San Ignacio town, and 2 miles from San Jose Succotz village, we are on the heart of a Private working cattle ranch with beautiful lush green pastures and rolling hills. This is a Nature Lovers Paradise. Our Thatched roof huts are hugged by the Mopan river with the natural beauty of Flora and Fauna.
