This is a nice older type hotel in the Historic Center. It is dated but not enough to pass on this friendly and affordable clean hotel. Easy walk to restaurants and bars. I booked the room with the Balcony which was more of a small patio overlooking the side street. It came with a table and 2 Chairs and was... More

El Navegante is a nice hotel that even offers breakfast service, not so common in this area of Mexico. The room was a little dark but fresh and clean with a spacious bathroom, too. Despite a problem we had during our last night with some ants in the bathroom our stay went smoothly. The staff, too, was welcoming and gave... More

Stayed here for one night. I had researched hotels in Campeche pretty extensively since they were all marked up in centro. This one wasn't. I've discovered why! It's horrible. I am not very particular, in truth, and consider myself a nice person who has low-key taste when it comes to the world. But if it had not been for only... More

Location was great--right in the historic center. Sidenote: We were surprised to find EVERY attraction in Campeche closed for renovation. I appreciate when governments update their historic centers and all, but was it really necessary to close EVERY baluarte and museum all at once? Seemed a tad silly. Hotel was lacking in service and the breakfast was comical. So many... More

I spent 4 nights in campeche and i do regret the choice i made for the hotel. There is many beautiful places to stay at, but El Navegante is not one of them. Even though the rooms are alright, the place seems almost dead. Slowest service, i almost felt like i was disturbing the peace of the staff. Breakfast is... More

Basic clean rooms and a very friendly staff. We had a room with a balcony which was quite nice although it got pretty warm with the flat roof on top. Breakfast is simple; a slice of toast with butter and jam, some lemonade and cakes. Wifi available so that's great! We recommend the coffee shop at the end of the... More

Spent one night here on way back to Cancun, good spot in historic quarter, close to cathedral and the malecon, typical Spanish old quarter. Continental breakfast included in price, staff helpful and room well proportioned, does everything it says on Tim, recommend.

This hotel is only 5 minutes walking away from the centre of Old Campeche and is situated within the old centre itself as well. The room was spacious with two double beds, and excellent facilities: tv with heaps of channels, silent but good aircon and fan, spacious bathroom with very good shower and a free parking space next to the... Stayed here for one night and it was fine as a stopover - close to center, had free parking, bed was good, tv and internet worked. However, if you book a cheap deal you'll most probably get a room where the windows open up to their washing room, literally. The room was tiny and a bit dark, bathroom was ok... More
