I hesitated to write this review as my experience is so different than everyone else's. Maybe I wasn't a good enough surfer - low intermediate - to book a Nica trip? I did pick a month with waves more or less in my size range....More
Had a great week at GFS camp with long time surf buddy! Justin and team put us on waves twice a day and were ready to take us out whenever we wanted to go. We hit a swell and for a couple days it was...More
A mate recommended GFS to me from his trip a couple of years ago and now I can see why. The swell gradually dropped off during the week I was there but we always managed to get good, fun waves. Kyle and Justin were awesome...More
I originally was planning a trip to Nicaragua in Jan/Feb and contacted several tour companies. Several said to "come on down, you'll have a great time", but Giant's was the only camp that said, basically, that is the only time of the year when winds...More

Thank you so much for this great review, you were such a pleasure to have here. Please feel free to make this your home away from home! Hope to see you soon.
Hi Alec. We have availability from August 26th and would be stoked to have you down! We do our bookings through our website or email so just google Giant's Foot Surf Tours and that will get you to our site.

February is some of our smaller swell, so I wouldn't recommend coming down to people looking for epic barrels; but is a great time to learn. Our all-inclusive beginner tour includes surf board rental and our lesson program designed to make the most of your one week at the camp. We really want all of our beginners to leave with the skills to continue surfing on their own after their stay.
Also, fair warning, our water is its chilliest in January, so it can hang around a bit into February sometimes. We aren't talking Quebec cold, but it is worth bringing a thin neoprene top just in case.
