Perfect location to tour Thomas Hardy country also close to coast and other Dorset towns. We stayed for two nights and wish it had been three or more. Louise welcomed us with warm scones, clotted cream and home made jams plus a Victoria sponge Breakfast was outstanding with as much as you wanted to eat. Louise also prepared a most...

Tudor cottage was stunning! The rooms were immaculate and designed to the top standards. Louise's attention to detail was first class in every way. I seriously couldn't fault it at all. Very welcoming and food much better than any 5* restaurant I have been to .. but with a very comforting and personal touch. Fabulous.

We stayed for two nights and were made to feel at home straight away. Louise welcomed us with a roaring log fire, homemade scones and cream sponge and then identified the attractions we might visit during our stay. The room came with a four poster bed and typical Tudor features exposed but always with modern comforts. breakfast was as much...

Truly exceptional B&B. Lovely quaint cottage with roaring fire and lovely decor. Louise was very welcoming and served home made cream tea on arrival. Room with four-poster bed and nice en-suite with great shower. All the little touches, grapes, selection of teas, homemade chocs, toiletries, plush towels. Breakfast was outstanding with huge selection of fresh fruit and beautifully cooked traditional...

The breakfast was delightful, as were the warmed cheese straws and wine in front of the fire , We hope to be back soon, Thank...

We recently stayed at Tudor Cottage for 5 nights. What can I say that hasn't been said by others? Louise is an amazing host, very considerate and attentive. Her breakfasts were delicious and the evening meal was by far the best of any we had during our stay in Dorset. To quote a fellow guest "the cottage wraps itself around...

Everything about our stay at Tudor Cottage showed that Louise, the proprietor, shows the greatest care and attention to her guests. We knew from the moment we enquired about a booking that this was going to be a real treat. Tudor Cottage, really is Tudor (much of the fireplace, even older) and beautifully decorated. The room we had was well equipped,...

Well, where to start to do justice to Louise and her splendid home? It was my birthday and Louise very kindly made me a cake...and cream tea, of course. She gave Lisa advice on where we might eat. Louise simply could not have been more obliging. Her home, the room et al were all charming. Her breakfasts would compare very...
