Having a vintage air, with a great view and very clean and comfortable, this small hotel in Scherpenzeel is a great place to stay and enjoy a few days of relaxation and silence. I spended 2 weeks here and I have nothing to complain about. The rooms are very clean and cozy, very nice staff and very nice restaurant. The...

Arrive early evening and booked a table for dinner, a quick freshen up and we went down for food. The restaurant was very pleasant with lots of locals out for A Sunday meal. The food was superb, I had my initial reservations about the portion size as they looked small, two courses later and I was proved wrong I was...

A nice quit hotel in the center of the historic town of Scherpenzeel. If you love to walk and have a nice high tea afterwards, this is the place to be. The beautiful surroundings are great. I loved it!

The food at this hotel is amazing and presented in the best manor. The staff are excellent in the service and understanding of the food. Now the hotel must get the rooms to the food standard please!!! They are so out of date and poor by today's standard

For me this was a cozy one night sleep in a ferry-tale village. Coming from a busy town, Scherpenzeel, with its wide windows hoses, its ducks and its green grass was like a magic appearance. The hotel has a nice retro design. The room had a nice terrace with view towards a park. The restaurant looked great, with a nice...

We stayed as a couple for two nights here as we had business in the area. The location is a bit remote, as there is nothing to do in the neighbourhood. The hotel seems to target groups, family reunions or weddings. Restaurant a la carte is a bit expensive with rather small plates, but the menus are better priced. The...

OK, I made a reservation for the restaurant (did not stay for the night). Arrived around 7pm, not too tables occupied, just a few. Later in the evening all tables were occupied. Make a reservation in advance! Friendly staff, good explanation of the menus (4 courses €45 p.p.excl. wine). Attractive wine menu and affordable. Got a Yalumba white for €35...
