Great place to stay while in the area, great value for money for a three day stay. I always stay here while I'm on business in the area. Julie and Helen are the perfect hosts, the place is spotless, everything you need is on hand. The restaurant is great, fantastic home cooked meals, Helen bakes the best Chicken and Mushroom...

Made a repeat visit after a recent birthday dinner when our party of fourteen adults and three kids had a wonderful dining experience. This time we were three adults and three children and all aspects of our visit were up to the same high standard. The menu was tweaked to suit the kids needs and all of the food was...

Our annual High Tea outing once again a great success, 37 people and every meal was served hot and on time, all perfectly cooked, lots of veg, chips & tatties and of course the hot scones and cakes after. Well done once again.

We have eaten here numerous times and have never been let down. The food is always excellent as is the service. It's the place to take family and friends confidently knowing you will not be let down. I have no hesitation to recommend keep up the good work. Five stars.

Been here a few times now and it is amazing! Our first choice for tea out! Fillet Steak is out of this world! Only managed pudding once as the feed you get is unreal! Nice surroundings and the ladies in charge are lovely! Such a homely environment and we feel at ease and comfortable on every visit! Worth the visit!

This is truly an amazing place and a bit of a hidden gem. We've now eaten here 4 or 5 times and each time we've come away at least 5lbs heavier! During the midweek visits we've been served by the owner and on the one weekend night she had another woman assisting. Both these ladies are lovely, super friendly and...

My wife and I had three very good nights here with a really warm and friendly welcome. The helpfulness of Julie and Helen was much appreciated with an excellent packed lunch to replace breakfast because of such an early start home to Cornwall. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Closed at Friday lunchtime at height of summer. No indication of when it is open. Very disappointed after travelling some distance to visit. Went to Ramsay Arms, Fettercairn instead, which was open and has a good selection of real ales and a lovely beer garden.
