We decided to visit the Ramsay Arms for a spot of Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. We arrived to a friendly welcome but to be told there was a power cut in the village. We were happy to wait and 15 minutes later we served with delicious platter of beautiful (still warm) homemade bread, pesto and some olives....

This is a super looking hotel in a lovely little village. The waitress was very helpful and friendly and the food good. It's clean, comfortable and well presented. If I had to complain about anything, it was a wee bit cool but honestly an enjoyable meal on the whole.

As above. Family of four having dinner - left feeling very full. Great food - had three courses all of which were of great quality - nicely presented and very tasty. Made to feel very welcome by the two bar staff who were fairly busy with two larger tables but we were never rushed. Would recommend this place for an...

Found this hotel online and thought it was a great place to meet. We and friends had arranged to meet up 'somewhere in the middle' , which still meant around a 70 mile drive for all of us. We initially thought that at this time of year (January) we wouldn't need to book but decided we'd better do so. Just...

Lovely food and really nice staff, shame the bosses children were running amok, unattended and noisy. Climbing over furniture and ringing reception desk bell repetitively. I would have expected the boss to have more consideration for guests who would like a quiet drink.

We bought this as a groupon and were pleasantly surprised at value for money. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was second to none while staff were pleasant and helpful . This place is not for those looking for a busy nitelife but perfect for those looking to enjoy good food and lovely surroundings.

We went as a family group - two grandparents, two parents and two small children (3 & 15months) so we ate early. The staff were wonderful with the children and provided everything they could want, including an excellent menu for them. The real treat, though was the quality of the food. My venison was sensationally good and very fairly priced....

You can tell by the outside of an establishment what's going on inside and this venue is no exception. Very clean and tidy and nicely decorated in the Scottish Tradition but not OTT. Staff very welcoming and our lunch stop was just perfect. Great Pint of Inveralmond Ossian (possibly the best craft beer around) and our lunch was 'spot on'...
