A very warm, friendly and helpful greeting by the host when eight of us stayed here for one night on the start of a golfing trip. We had three 2 bedroom and one 1 bedroom units. These are very bright and extremely roomy motels which were spotlessly clean. They are so well set up and it felt very relaxed & cosy and...

Very warm welcome and found the facilities ideal for what I needed for a stopover on my way to Hanmer Springs. Was a far better option for getting away next morning rather than stopping off in Christchurch. Was not aware of the amazing beach at Woodend and would certainly stay in the Pegasus Motel again and give myself more time...

We stayed for just one night on our South Island road trip. Friendly welcome from Kelvin who showed us to our apartment (number 4) and we were pleasantly surprised wire its size and would have suited a longer stay. Separate bathroom, bedroom with large bed, kitchenette with microwave and stovetop and a second (small) tv in the bedroom. Didn't hear...

Our suite was spacious with a separate bedroom, clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful owners. We stayed on two occassions whilst travelling through Christchurch. Ideal location if wanting to travel through and suited our requirements perfectly.Would stay again if travelling to south Island for cycle events.

The suite was huge. Seriously, I think it was bigger than my college apartment. It was very clean and had a complete kitchen with decent counter space. This unit could have been used as a base for a long stay. The innkeeper was pleasant and gave us some helpful information. We arrived late in the evening (we let him know...

Thanks melrowgo1. Yes the units are large we built them with the idea that a single bedroom could easily accommodate a family of 4 and the double bedrooms a family of 6. No studios we encourage people to stay on.

Rooms were extremely clean and the welcome was fantastic. Owners very helpful and welcoming. It is walking distance to a bar and dining area. and although close to the road, there was minimal noise from the traffic.

Due to a change of plans we were looking for somewhere near Christchurch but not too close in to the city. After reading some of the reviews we thought this place was well suited to our needs. We weren't disappointed, very comfortable rooms, great cooking facility. Good wifi and better than many for TV. Very happy to stay here and...

I've stayed a few times on work business, and think this is a great little spot. Kelvin is an awesome friendly host. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds super-comfortable. Fast free wifi is another nice little touch. Highly recommended.
