My, wife, my self and my daughter, the latter an Elephant afficionada, flew to Amboselli from Wilson Airport, only passengers in the plane, on Monday 01.April 2017. After a bit of hassle paying entrance fees, due to failure of signal to credit card, no cash taken. We set off for the drive to Serena. Within 15 minutes a family of elephants...

Lovely place, with amazing service even during peak season. The hotel was booked to capacity and still service wasn't compromised, very attentive and patient staff. As a family of four- 2 adults and 2 kids- we took the family room and it was great. Clean, cozy rooms and nice turn-down service. Food variety was excellent and delicious. For the kids,...

Amboseli National Park is elephant country but you will also get to see a lot of other herbivores. We also managed to see lions and cheetahs. This was a family trip and the kids (4-13yrs) were kept busy with Easter egg hunts, swimming pool activities etc. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The temperatures can get very high so be prepared to...

This is a wonderful safari lodge located inside the National Park with a view of the Kilimanjaro (Can it get any better?). The cottages are spaced along a beautiful garden path and every one of them opens to a backyard with a lawn that feels like a private courtyard. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perhaps the best...

Given that it is located inside the Amboseli National Park, you spend most of the time in the game drive actually looking for wildlife. Comes highly recommended if your primary purpose is to spend as much time in the national park.

The only bad thing I have to say about this place, is if you unlucky get one of the further rooms it can be a bit annoying to walk back and forth. I enjoy every stat there. The rooms are always very clean and cozy, the dining area serves very good food for all types, and the bar/cafe seating area...

We stayed two nights at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and were not disappointed. We were traveling with three young kids so we had a two-room accommodation. The lodge was great. Amboseli had plenty of animals to be seen throughout the park, but zebras, baboons, monkeys and a variety of antelope would make their way to the back portion of the...

I stayed at Amboseli Serena Lodge for one night during low season so it was fairly quiet. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, as it was quiet you could choose from a 4 course menu for lunch and dinner (salad, soup, meat or fish and dessert) and breakfast was buffet style. Rooms were...
