This place is a gem in Lovina. Beautiful grounds on a hill top granting views on the sea. Comfortable, zen and relaxing. Not near a beach but the hotel drives you there. Nice bar overlooking the pool and really delicious food. Breakfast with home made jam and a perfect home made 'nutella' without the palm oil... This was a perfect...

Sadly, we left the Damai this morning. Getting to North Bali takes a little time but every minute is worth the effort when you arrive. All staff are charming; the dining is world class; service is impeccable. We wish we could have stayed much longer...thanks, Damai from Jenny and Ray :-)

The word Damai apparently means peace or peaceful - and they could not have chosen a better name for the place. We arrived exhausted after three days of plane travel and found the perfect setting to rest and get restored. The spa treatments are excellent as is the food but the best part? THE STAFF. Each person we met was...

Jean-Francois and his team provided a fantastic stay for my wife and I and our friends. We chose the garden rooms which are small stand alone villas overlooking the verdant gardens and rainforest. Accomodation was excellent, food outstanding and service to die for. All in all a great place to stay which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. One brickbat is...
