We had a great stay at Barnham Broom. I have stayed previously and I realise they have a new team who are settling into their roles. They are enthusiastic and happy to help. The golf course is amazing and the organisation in the golf shop with busy courses was excellent and friendly (thanks for the brufen...top service!). The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The relaxed atmosphere prevails throughout. I had a great massage from Theodora and recommend her. The food is excellent without pretention. Especially the blade of beef. The cheese selection is worth a whirl. Breakfast was superbly cooked. The waiting staff are eager to please even if sometimes a little Fawlty Towers creeps in. Problems were few and graciously acknowledged and corrected. We will definitely be back. A wonderful experience and very relaxing..…
Our Golf Society consisting of 13 Golfers recently visited Barnham Broom for 2 days/nights. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the service was excellent - the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was amazing with plenty of choice. The 2 courses were in great condition and each provided a very different challenge to any level of golfer. Our party have stayed a few times in recent years and we are in the process of booking for next year as the stay provides all you could want for a Society Golf Tour. Thank you to all the team - you were outstanding and we look forward to returning to see you all soon. David Wilson.
Hi, we had an amazing evening away for our wedding anniversary which was made even better by the staff providing special touches and complimentary prosecco. Thank you very much. The only downside was the price of everything. The steak £30 and we then had to buy vegetables on top of that! Seemed a bit extreme but was very nice. Luckily I am a leisure member so got discount but was still expensive. Some staff seemed a bit young and inexperienced but I put that down to the covid times! The room we had was the valley suite which is great but I found it overpriced again. £230 for one night including breakfast... Overall, I love barnham broom and would stay again but only for a special occasion.
Popped in for dinner in the sports bar with my family last Friday. food was adequate for the price paid. service was impeccable we were served by a young man called Robert he was very friendly and helpful. the food and drinks came quickly and all service was great. had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience.
After a 5 hour drive we were very, very disappointed with this place. The restaurant and bar areas were quite smart and the breakfast was quite good. However the accommodation side was really awful - the passages to the rooms were very dark - all painted brown walls and ceilings and the carpets were very dirty. The room was very dated and in serious need of redecoration and was also very dark. The bathroom was horrendous- couldn't work the bath which had an awful stain. Really dont know how they achieve 4* - dont mind paying for special occasion accomodation but at £210 it was expensive for what it was.
