We stayed only 1 night during our road trip around Bohol, stayed the most basic double room with fan and private bathroom for 400 pesos/night. The prices of the food and breakfast were really ok: noodles 100 pesos, breakfast (coffee, rice, omelete and sausagr) 65 pesos, instant coffee 15 pesos, etc. The young woman who was in reception was very...

Me and my friends were backpacking in Bohol, so we got lured by the cheap price, 700/night for 3 for a room with fan. The place was a bit far from everything, but we took a tricycle to the town, which was a bit of a ghost town. As we arrived we were happy, the place seemed nice and cozy,...

Close to the hills, so you can visit the sight during the day and sunset. You will need your motorbike to move around, its more fun then. Good parking with a roof to cover the bikes from the rain. Very cheep and tasty food. Just stay in the air con, pool side rooms - its around 600-700 peso. The rooms...

Close to Chocolate Hills viewing area, not a lot of other accommodation nearby so this is a good choice. Good food cooked to order so leave plenty of time as even breakfast can take a while. Grounds are well kept, pools looked clean. Rooms are basic. Stayed three nights. Would have been good for someone to change sheet or refill...

We didn't stay at this hotel but we ate all of our meals here - food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Would highly recommend the vegetable chop suey. The family that run the place are extremely friendly and helpful. One of the owners also has a tour guide service which we used to get from Carmen to Alona Beach...

It is only 3km, 30 minutes walk, to the viewing point for the Chocolate Hills so you can see them when the hordes of tourists have gone. The staff are lovely and very helpful, The food is also very good and it was nice to get some different local food instead of the tourist fodder on the rest of the...

We had high expectations from the reviews here, but we arrived to a total ghost-town! Surroundings, including the pool, were very nice, and prices were fair! Experiences with staff were mixed. The welcoming were fine but the morning we left they were very rude - they said they couldnt serve breakfast because of the missing chef, but they made themself...

This hotel/lodge is on the main road between the Chocolate Hills Complex and the nearby town of Carmen. As far as I am aware, this is the nearest accommodation to the Chocolate Hills viewpoint (about 2km), so the location is a huge plus for anyone wanting to see the hills in the best light at sunset or sunrise! The rooms...
