We stayed two nights in cosy old style manor. The house senses the old-fashioned atmosphere, just like you were in the old-fashioned movie! Rooms are tidy and cute. The host couple takes you warmly as a guest and they willingly tell stories about history of the Wanha Peltola. There are two saunas near he lake, one is normal Finnish sauna with great steam and the other is smoke sauna. If you are not going to stay, then I recommend to eat luch buffet which is available on Saturday and Sunday. They offering Eastern-Finnish delicacies like muikkukukko. Really strong recommendation

Härligt ställe och god mat! Frun i huset gör otroligt god mat! Vi åt en fantastisk paj på kvällskvisten och den var jättegod. Omgivningen bjuder på det bästa av finländsk natur och här finns både vanlig bastu och rökbastu! Värda att testa men vi hann inte med rökbastun fastän vi nog såg då den eldades! 11 timmar att elda: då blir det bra! Det vi inte visste då vi beställde, var att man inte bara har rum i huset utan även i en bod på gården och där finns bara sängar och ett bord! Dit placerades vi och om jag beställer en gång till vill jag nog vara säker på att hamna i huvudbyggnaden. Vill man vara nära till badrummet får man springa litet om det blir bråttom på natten för WC och dusch finns i huvudbyggnaden! Det var det enda negativa på detta ställe. Stället finns ungefär 23 km från S:t Michels centrum.…
