We have stayed at this resort 3 times and have enjoyed every visit. The apartments are a decent size and most have large balconies overlooking the golf course. The resort is quiet and relaxing. There are several pools to enjoy, most of which you can usually have to yourselves in my experience. The beaches of the Mar Menor are about 15 mins drive . These are great if you have small children as the "sea" is very calm and warm. For waves and larger beaches the Med beaches are about 25-30 mins. The Spar shop onsite is reasonably priced and well stocked. The club house restaurant is rather expensive and better choices to eat are in nearby Roldan, only 5 mins drive away. Overall if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend your holiday then this is perfect.
Joined family for grandson's 18th birthday week. Not the type of accommodation, location or even country I'd book with my other half but I really enjoyed it. The complex is peaceful with beautiful gardens, lots of outdoor pools (guests can use any of them), supermarket and clubhouse with bar, pool tables (or maybe snooker, not sure as did not go in) and of course there is the golf course if you are into that. Great views over the golf course. Apartments vary in size and the 2 we used were both fab - the prices are good for the amenities (you have a reasonable cleaning fee on top of listed prices for the apartments. The apartment I was in came with full-size cooker, and fridge-freezer. There was a washing machine and dishwasher, lots of utensils, cutlery, crockery, towels and bedding. The patio had tables and chairs, comfortable (cushioned) seating and there were 4 sunliungers to use on the patio or grass. There were free toiletries, tea and coffee. There was a TV in the lounge and one in the bedroom, big double wardrobe. Twin beds in bedroom, vanity mirror with chair, hairdryer, adapters for the sockets. Main area had a pull-down double bed and the L-shaped settee converted to a double bed also. There are pull-down screens for privacy to separate these beds from the kitchen area etc. There fly screens which you can pull across the open patio doors and also there are pull-down shutters. Aircon. There are small play areas dotted about the site (with slides etc) for children. The site has 24/7 security so feels very safe. You do need a vehicle if you want to do anything off-site but if you want a lovely, peaceful, safe complex and can hire a car, this is an ideal place to stay. Lots of restaurants within a short drive. I believe the clubhouse has a decent restaurant but cannot review it as we didn't go. What's not to like here!…
So fab I brought a 1 bed apartment we brought new furniture had AC fitted lights fitted really nice supermarket on resort and club house is ace must visit so peaceful golf courses are brill 5 stars from me
We booked an apartment for 4 nights as a base camp for exploring the local area and it was perfect! The complex itself is very big with lots of apartments but as a lot of these are holiday homes, most of them were unoccupied whilst we were there meaning we had the pool to ourselves! The resort is peaceful and quiet which is perfect if you like to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle. There is a Spar shop on site that has the basics you would need plus much more. There is also a clubhouse bar/restaurant that is reasonably priced and has a steady influx of golfers popping in and out throughout the day. Other than that there isn't much else going on at Terrazas De La Torre, we enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning very soon! We hired a car which allowed us to go out and about, we visited Los Alcazares which has a lovely beach that wasnt over crowded. It's roughly 10 minutes away by car, you could easily call a cab if you don't have a car.. There is also a seemingly new boulevard of bars and restaurants, there are so many that you'd be spoilt for choice. There are a few supermarkets there too, including a Lidl for you to do your main shopping at. Overall a great stay, if you like a lively resort then this probably wouldnt be the place for you. However, if you like to chill out and have a feeling of open space then you'd love it. The resort is well maintained with the gardens and golf course looking immaculate and there is 24 hour security on site aswell.…
We booked an apartment through Home and Away. Code ECC520 Terrazas de la Torre Golf Res, 30709 Roldan. It was a real disappointment. It was unclean, broken furniture, bedding seen better day's, pillows stained and the whole place needed a good paint. Had to go and buy equipment to use in the kitchen. When you pay for cleaning you expect it to be clean. Not a good experience for first time...
The only good thing about Terrazas is going home! Building work still going on 10 years down the line, still waiting for the shops, the tennis courts, and all the other things promised when we bought here. Now they are building very expensive villas when they have hundreds of empty apartments and there are no facilities other than pools, a couple of children's parks, a club house that serves limited food and expensive drinks and a shop! So many better places to buy/rent that have golf courses on site but I'm told the golf course is good.
Fantastic place, great outlook onto desert design golf course. Security are probably the most helpful people you can ever wish to meet, nothing is too much trouble for them anytime of day or night. Great Spar shop with all your basic essentials and very friendly young lady. The Bar/Clubhouse also very modern and the staff again very very happy and helpful. Its that good I now live here permanently. Very quiet and very secure, always enjoy a good nights sleep. Will not be everybody's cup of tea because of the quietness, but I love it.
Very clean tidy resort, relaxed atmosphere, spar shop has all the essentials you need. Saurines clubhouse and bar offer good quality food and drinks, lovely courtyard to pass those warm evenings. Can't wait to go back.
Apartment very good - clean, well equipped, excellent air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Complex very nicely kept - only amenities 1 Spar shop and a restaurant with a limited menu. However, what really lets it all down is the pool security. We are a family visiting with children and grand children and we're hoping to enjoy pool side fun. Unfortunately we were continually hounded by security guards who stopped us using inflatables, eating by the pool, putting up a sun umbrella and generally enjoying ourselves. We are responsible holiday makers who respect the enjoyment of others but just feel the treatment we were given was over the top and unnecessary. We did see other guests doing some of these things but they were not treated in the same way.
Excellent place with great security clean and well maintained I have stayed here a few times over the last few years and have now bought a ground floor apartment The area is great for families and golfers Great location 10 mins from airport and great beaches of Mar menor Recommended for any time of the year I've been in every month of the year and the temperatures range from 16 to 40 Not much rain even in Feb Try it
