very pleasantly surprised by this quaint B&B. B&B really doesn'y describe the farmhouse though. You do not feel like you are staying in a B&B; it feels so more private. The house is nice and the staff is wonderful all around. We stayed two nights and loved it.

This is a hidden gem. Set in a beautiful English manor house with fabulous decor. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels and not had a room as stunning as the one we had. Warm reception from sue on arrival and she plied us with tea and cake. Breakfast was delicious - great selection including fresh fruits and a cooked...

We were two couples, staying two nights, and except for some mishap in finding the place (for your reference take the road to the Castle, just go the left at the car park for the Farmhouse) everything was quite grand. The rooms are comfortable, with good bathrooms, and the breakfasts were made to order and (as much or little as...

Our group spent 2 lovely nights at Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse. Sue Thompson operates a first class bed & breakfast. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was phenomenal, and the setting was superb. She and her husband, Fraser, are great fun. He is managing director of the local vineyard. Breakfast was served by the lovely Jill who never stops working to make your...

B&B doesn't do justice to this lovely house, next to Sissinghurst Castle. A relaxed atmosphere and a great welcome from Sue and Ruby, the dog, ensure you make the most of staying in such a comfortable home, with traces of Arts & Crafts everywhere. Here, Vita Sackville-West lived, and books by her and by the Nicholsons, abound. The rooms are...

Although we are long standing NT members, this was the first time we had stayed in any of the B&B properties, and this one has the obvious advantage of being adjacent to the gardens, with many other NT properties and other attractions in the area within easy travelling distance. This was a last minute/spur of the moment booking for a...

Sue is a great host. We received a warm welcome to this fantastic B and B. Our twin room was elegant and really comfortable with all we might need. Excellent shower and good supply of fluffy towels. Great beds with smart linen. The breakfast was excellent with proper toast, great porridge and a good choice of cooked dishes with superior,...

Received a very warm welcome at this beautiful, and very homely farmhouse. Room was large, bright and very clean, with lovely views. Great location, very peaceful and relaxing. Great recommendations from Sue on restaurants and places to visit, ideal spot to stay. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast with good choices, served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. Would love to...

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the Farmhouse, Sue could not have been more helpful from storing our bikes to arranging restaurants and taxi bookings. The rooms are bright and clean with lovely views of the the tower or grounds. Would definitely love to stay again.

After the warm welcome and wonderful stay at Hononton Cottage, it was strange to spend one night by Sissinghurst Farm House. The welcome was different and not so warm at our arrival, we took our tea and coffee in the garden, but it was difficult to find a clean seat, the room was “Sissinghurst”, the view was nice, but the...
