Was traveling to Senggigi with a friend, as we walk around the beach during day time arrival from Bali and stop over in Mataram for a moment. And we decided to find some room later due its not a high season at all. After couples hours we spent by the beach, round 8pm after dinner we walk down the road...

Very nice place to stay! Low prices and very close to the beach and citycenter. Ibu dari sana is a sweet women who really wants to take care of you. She can arange trips and rents her motorbike for a good price. I went on a komodo trip she arange for me and it was amazing!! One side note: if...

Don't come here expecting a palace for 100000 idr a night... it's extremely basic but the sheets are clean. If you're on a budget and can put up with shabby rooms I would say this one fits the bill. The courtyard is quite cute too. The real saving grace here is the manager, Maria. She went out of her way...

This homestay is insalubrious, there is moisture everywhere and every part of the room is dirty. We ear a big noise in the roof and the owner told us it was only a baby cat. We didn't have time to discover what it was because we didin't stay for the night. We leaved and ask for a refound. Don't go...

We stayed in sonya's as back packers, for a low price of 100,000 rupiah each a night per room, it's understandable why it's not the best quality. There were ants in our room and the shower is like a sink tap. The towels were not too clean either however breakfast is included and if you're just passing through, it is...

Sonya was the most sour person I've encountered on a three month trip to Indonesia. She was unpleasant, unwelcoming and seemed to only care about sucking money out of us. Beyond that, the rooms were filthy and cramped. The shower didn't have a proper shower head, cold water just shot out of a pipe at full blast. While AC is...

We booked a room with Sonya as it was a recommended listing in Lonely Planet. I called to say we were arriving late due to our ferry connection from Bali. When we arrived around 11pm, Sonya and her family were fast asleep but awoke to welcome us. She claimed she thought we were not arriving after all. In any case...

One of the tourist information booths on the main drag suggested Sonya Homestay and I'm glad they did. My friend and I didn't care for the previous place we stayed in Senggigi, where the owner was beyond unpleasant. We walked up to Sonya Homestay and asked about room availability and were greeted with a smile. The price was right, Rp...

Basic stay. Rooms only have fan, no ac so can get quite hot. Clean enough. Banana pancakes and fresh fruit for breakfast. We hired a driver for one day via the owner. Safe car, but driver did not tell about lombok. Good value for money, only 100000 per night...

Very basic room, decent food. Owner SEEMS nice but beware. Stayed here with a friend and she short changed him by 80,000 rupiah bc she said she didn't have it at the time. When asked for said change the next day, she said we were wrong. Then changed her tune, to I'm old and can't remember, followed by it's your...
