Our usual hostel in El Molar was closed on the date we wanted and we had seen this on a previous visit so booked it. The secure parking was the main reason we were drawn to it. Check in was fast - perhaps too fast for my brain to compute all the instructions for lift, keys, parking etc after 2 long days of travelling but we got there in the end! The room was clean and spacious although a little tired and a lick of paint in the bathroom would have helped. There was free wi-fi that worked well but you had to keep entering the code each time to log on which was a bit annoying but manageable. The chap on reception, who spoke English, was helpful telling us where to eat as it was Sunday and a lot of places were either closed or didn't serve food until around 9pm which was too late for us. We didn't have breakfast there in the morning but went to a cafe a couple of minutes walk away for tostadas and coffee. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and, for an overnight stay, was ideal. The car parking was 9€ but we felt it was well worth it for us this time. There was limited parking in the street but you could not guarantee how close to the hostel you would be. All in all, we would stay here again if we needed secure parking.

I came across this Hostal on Booking .com. This is the first time we had used a Hostal as we were apprehensive having used Hostels in the Uk!! One point to remember is that it would be cheaper to book direct with the Hostal rather than through Booking.com!! We arrived at the Hostal and was amazed at the quality and appearance of the Hostal. Our room was spotlessly clean and we felt very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. We arrived quite late, nut managed to get a meal at the bar down the road, which was ok Our dog cost 11 Euros and carpark 9 Euros. My wife was able to get a breakfast in preparation for our onward trip to Santander. We are planning to return to the Hostal in July

Check in was quick and all staff were pleasant. The room was spacious with a clean double bed. The shower was great with piping hot water. Short walk into El Molar centre for the restaurants. Over all a good hotel for a short break just north of Madrid. There is a bar and restaurant but it didn't appear to be open, however, when I asked for a coffee in the morning the desk lady turned on the restaurant lights and I sat in there to drink my coffee.

I stopped here en route from France to Costa del Sol. It was the most reasonable hotel on the motorway. Not unusual, but I paid nine euros for garage parking and ten for the dog, plus VAT. This added 50% to the bill. No restaurant but smashing pavement cafe 100yds down road. Didn't have breakfast at hotel as dogs not allowed. Very clean with helpful staff. Only niggle, was a very nice en suite but shower controls smooth so needed towel ro operate, when hands soapy. Also water pipe noise woke me. Ok for travelling but annoying if one were staying

We arrived quite late at the Airport and were headed North so we decided to make a stop at this conventiently located Hotel. It is about 30 minutes from the Airport and easy to reach. We were able to check in after 12am which was a big plus. The rooms are okay for a one night stay. Everything is very clean. We did not choose to have breakfast as with 8€/ Person it is quite expensive I think.
