I've been here 3 times for SCUBA Diving and Open Water Swim. No shoreline here. So this is not suited for those who just want to be in the beach. Water is clear and they have the famous Balai Rock. The famous Twin Rocks dive site is just nearby. Staff are accommodating and the

First, if you go via public transport, it's an adventure to reach the place. Website is not updated, so hopefully this will help. Note that from Anilao, there's no jeepney going to San Teodoro anymore - you have to hire a tricycle (cheaper at the town center tricycle stop). And

Hello. How can we book? Please kindly provide website, contact number and email address. Thank you.
Hi. You can check their website - it lists the rate and inclusions for overnight, and for day trip, number of guests, and type of room. You have to pay a deposit before going there to reserve. They don't usually accept walk-ins, unexpected guests. If you're commuting, do not believe what their website says. There's no jeepney anymore that goes to Balanoy - for years! Can't believe they still haven't updated it. You need to hire a tricycle, and it's triple the cost of a bus ride from Manila, unless you wait for the trike to get enough passengers.

"Get a cottage if you want to hear the sounds of waves."
"The rooms are basic and small. Ideal for spending the day on the beach and a good night sleep."
"get a room facing the ocean"
"You have to go down a flight of stairs to reach the shore. Thus, to reach your rooms, you have to climb. If you are the type of traveler who exhausts yourself at the end of the day (or can barely stand after a good meal), it might be best to choose rooms at the lower level. But if you want a better view and you always have the drive to reach your room no matter what, then the extra flight of stairs will do you good. Also, the currents are sometimes strong, so make sure to have a buddy or a divemaster with you."
