If this was a 2 star hotel then you would have expected many of the things that we certainly did not expect. To start with, we had a double room which was charged at €84 per night, it is definitely not worth that, although it was clean. The shower in our room was so small that my 6.3f husband struggled to turn around, he is slim, and kept banging his elbows whilst trying to wash. During our stay the weather was very hot and as a result the room was like a sauna, we were provided with a small desk fan that could only provide one of us with some air. There was also a strange smell in the room when we first arrived. My mum also stayed at the hotel and they had issues with some of the staff. One of the waitresses gave the group rude looks and the female manager had a sharp tone and was short with her at times. Although she did apologise for that when raised. It appeared that they struggled with our larger group booking as there was a lot of miscommunication, about things like when breakfast ends, cancellation policy and check out time. There were, however plenty of good points too, the food was lovely. The room was clean. After a long discussion we did not have to pay for a night of the room that we did not use (flight was cancelled and therefore missed a night- should have paid 80% - which I think is rather high for something that I didn’t use). Lovely outside sitting area. I would not stay here again for the money that they are charging.

We have been staying in small and typically family owned places along our bike route. By far this was the most pleasant hotel with the most comfortable room and terrific food thus far. The restaurant overlooks a lovely grassy area by the river and the dinner and breakfast were very good. A lot of people from the surrounding area visit here for their dinners as it was first class creations. I highly recommend the cold cucumber soup with dill if u stop here. The rooms were very clean and the beds super comfortable unlike our last hotel. Super nice family who run the place. English well spoken.

We stopped here for an overnight stay on our way back from Gstaad to Warsaw and can whole heartedly recommend this Gasthof/Hotel for a stay. We had rooms on the 2nd floor and all rooms were clean, of a good size with a large bathroom (bath/shower) with toilet. The bed was really nice and there were 2 pillows to choose from, also both of a good quality. So had a very nice and relaxing sleep! Free WIFI is working well. The service was friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on the day of arrival and have to say it all tasted very good and food was nicely presented. The choice at breakfast was rich and everything was fresh, including several home made marmalades. There is sufficient choice for every taste, really a very nice breakfast buffet. So when in the area again and in need of a place to sleep I will for sure be back. Well recommended!!

Traveling on business to the area this was a last minute booking for myself and a colleague. We were not disappointed. recommended to us by our client we booked on line from UK which was trouble free The hotel is located in a very picturesque and small village with lovely views and very traditional buildings around it. many apple trees in blossom also added much colour Service excellent - local food freshly prepared and very well presented also made a great change Rooms very clean and spacey - beds very comfortable and powerful shower. Breakfast very nice Staff very helpful and even coped with my very bad schoolboy German ! Great beer, great food and fantastic local red wine - will be back on next visit to see client - that's for sure. Very good

Stayed for one night on business... no seating areas to work in downstairs but made the most of the restaurant space which has beautiful traditional decor. The food on the evening menu was beautiful and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with fruit, bread, choice of muesli, yoghurt, hot eggs etc. The rooms are basic but clean with all basic requirements for an overnight stay! Quite a remote location with no grocery shops or restaurant options but beautiful location!
