A nice short stay with helpful staff and average food. Room service is quick.Rooms are just neat.No valley views. Approachable from market. Recommend to stay here as it may be the best in rohru to visit chanchal.

The hotel provides a basic, clean functional room with a clean bathroom and clean sheets. The rooms are deep value for money as it is cheap. has a good bar and good food. We were a group of friends on a road trip and the other guests seemed to be similar. It is situated well too.

Rohru is quite town on banks of Pabbar river and is starting point for day long trip to Chanshal pass at 12500 feet, which is 50 kms one way, mostly dirt road however thru remarkable scenery & apple orchards. On the top it absolute quite calmness with chilly winds gushing around...360 degree view around is mesmerizing. Chanshal pass is open...

Royal Enfield Club Noida had a 2 night stay while on our ride to Chanshal. The food served was more than average but not so good to complement. The staff was cooperative.Ample parking space. Rooms were neat and tidy. Extra bedding is written on the website but they do not provide.

Stopped here as part of a llong bike trip. HTDC always snags nice locations and this one tooo was great. Simple place, and the price was surprisingly low, but the room was clean with tunning hot water. Cant complain.

I suspect people won't go to Rohru for relaxing in the conventional sense. One would go for experience, views, and cultural exposure. Accommodation options in the town are reflective of lack of mainstream tourists. The hotel is as advertised by HPTDC -- they don't claim it to be a posh place and it is not. The premises is spacious, staff...

Firstly, not sure why people think the location is good. Personally, I live in a city and when I travel to the hills, I value a quiet and picturesque away from the hustle bustle of civilisation. The Chanshal has a prime location within Rohru City and hence is right in the middle of it all; not at all a desirable...

Rohru is a small and busy town beside Pabbar river. We spent one night at Hotel Chanshal on our way to Chanshal Ghati. The hotel is avarage but location is good. Rohru town is busy, but the hotel is in a peaceful area. The river is very near and I loved the surrounding. Rooms are big with avarage furniture. Veg...

Budget hotel by HPTDC. Do not except much, the rooms and linen is not very clean. We had to use our own sheets and towels. The menu is big but most of the things are not available. I strongly recommend that one should stick to the basics (Paratha / Egg / Dal / Potatoes). Do not expect anything tandoori. Please...
