What a fantastic find! My daughter and I just wanted to get away from it all and potter about the pretty villages of Dorset. The accommodation was first class with very comfortable beds and everything we could need. Caroline was very helpful suggesting places to visit and ways to get there without having to use main roads so we actually... More

This wonderful B&B proved to be a far better alternative to a hotel; the bedrooms are light and airy with great views and beautifully furnished. Both bedrooms have french doors opening onto a gravel area self sown with red valerian and verbena - the perfect place to sit and soak up the atmosphere. The owners are extremely helpful, lending us... More

We treated ourselves to a break for my husband's birthday and a last holiday before our baby is born next month. Caroline and James were extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit, booking dinner with a local pub, providing maps and cooking an excellent breakfast. The fresh eggs from the chickens were delicious! We were also lucky to see the... More

This summer was my second stay but my husband's first and it's just a brilliant getaway. The scenery is beautiful and the accomodation very comfortable. Caroline looked after us this summer along with Polo her gorgeous black Lab. Caroline is an excellent hostess, very personable and provides a very hearty breafast. I loved the fresh milk for our room too... More

We stayed at this charming B&B and were made to feel extremely welcome by James & Caroline. The setting is beautiful and waking up to the lovely countryside that our French doors opened onto a treat. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh eggs from the hens. We were in the area for a family celebration; my parents were staying nearby... More

Charming in every sense. Our room in the cabin with french doors leading to the sheep farm was so cozy and pretty, it really felt like time off from the busy city. The breakfast was perfect, the owners delightful... this is a place we will certainly return to for time off, and to recharge the batteries. Lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are in a seperate cabin which ensures privacy and there is no sense of intruding into someone's home. The room was spacious and luxurious with nice decor and furniture as well as the amenities one would expect. There was a glorious view down their fields and across a... More

My daughter and I recently toured through the SW of England and by unplanned circumstances ended up staying at Croft Farm with the Renners. They made us feel very much part of their family and home and we really enjoyed using their lovely farm as a base from which to explore the area. Caroline and James are very hospitable hosts,... A new B&B on a very quiet rural setting near Shaftesbury. The Renners will make you feel as one of the family at their lovely farm. Clean, great breakfasts, James and Caroline are well suited for this business and one should book early to insure and opportunity for a room.
