Beautiful home, clean, modern, quiet with friendly hosts and lovely breakfast made to order. Susan the owner was very helpful with places to eat and visit on our short stay. Nice quiet location with lovely views, but not far by car to attractions.

On arrival we received tea and scones which was much appreciated. The food is the highlight here. The room was nice and clean and bed comfortable. Plenty of space for luggage. However you have to search for a plug, the tv is tiny and the toiletries aren't anything to write home about. The floorboards are very creaky and you're very aware of your neighbours. Breakfast was absolutely delicious .... great fruit followed by a lovely Irish fry. Best I've ever had. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

When we pulled into Lissadell Lodge, we were awe struck by the beautiful scenery right outside our window of Ben Bulbin and the rolling green fields. The bnb was beautifully laid out and our room with bathroom was large and very clean/taken care of. The host was very welcoming and made a terrific breakfast. She even explained the lore regarding the surrounding mountains. The bnb is tucked away from the main roads, but only 20 mins to downtown Sligo, 20 mins to a fantastic beach front with ice cream and restaurants and 20 mins from excellent hiking. We stayed at many bnbs around Ireland but this one was by far our favorite and we definitely plan to make it a

I was fortunate to stumble onto this lovely BnB while I was rambling about the west coast along the Atlantic Way this past May. Charming rooms and a wonderful location with mountain and farm views made me wish I could stay longer...I guess I'll just have to come back! Bonus: 5 minute drive to a nice local beach and a great local pub nearby All this and a delicious beakfast too! thanks Linda

Husband & I traveled to the area and picked Lissadell Lodge based on location and reviews. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Linda, the host, is a very friendly person willing to go the extra mile for her clients. Breakfast was yummy and made to order. Lots of wonderful sights to see close by. Restaurants are good.
