This was the first B&B my wife and I ever stayed in, and we weren't quite sure how much we'd like it beforehand. As it turned out, we loved the whole experience. Our host Linda was extremely welcoming, and we felt right at home in her home. Our room was immaculate and we had a lovely view of Ben Bulben. Our very first B&B breakfast was truly memorable. We had the full Irish breakfast, and the best scones we've ever had! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights in June to explore Sligo and the surrounding area. Linda and her family were very welcoming to their comfortable and well situated home with a wonderful view across to Ben Bulben. The room we had was comfortable, quiet and spotless. The breakfast choice was excellent and the quality of the food outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 2 nights here and enjoyed a (front) room with a view (of Ben Bulben). The room was comfortable, and clean. Breakfasts were a treat: grapefruit segments, fresh fruit and yoghurt, porridge, and French toast with fruit and syrup (not maple), delicious scones with tea and (real) coffee were our choices. Hostess Linda was friendly obliging and helpful. A few more ensuite soaps, shower gels, tea bags and milks would have been useful. Otherwise, no complaints. Strongly recommend this lovely spot close to Lissadell House, beach and shore line, mountains, and Sligo city (town?). Un pélerin

Lissadell Lodge is purposely built, so it feels a bit like a hotel, but without permanent reception crew. The owner serves a very nice breakfast and gives all kind of useful information. In the neighbourhood there are so many interesting places to visit, things to do. One does need a car however. The food served in the restaurants nearby was simple. But we had heard about the Lissadell oysters. Linda gave us directions on how to find the farm and we managed to buy the best oysters I had in my life for a very good price from the owner who was incredibly Irish and incredible kind

We were welcomed with tea and cookies. It was so quiet we thought we were the only guests until breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this B&B. The owner was kind and helpful with information about the area. She made everyone feel so comfortable that we talked with each other as well.
