Service slow , Presentation poor.... even quality not there Obviously there as been a change of Chef.... NOT FOR THE BETTER Also blatantly Obvious was the DIFFERENT Covid rules .... one for the Diners One for the Golfers
My fiancé proposed here last night and it was amazing! The hotel room was lovely, staff really friendly and the food was perfect. Lovely breakfast! Everything was lovely! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a romantic get away!
We stayed in The Barn Cottage - What a cosy and welcoming holiday get away. The perfect setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary (wish we'd had the weather to enjoy the beautiful garden too) Due to indoor eating not being possible at the time of our stay, the owner was extremely helpful in finding us an "outdoor restaurant" for us to have our anniversary meal - thank you
We stayed in Salt cottage which was a beautiful stone building. Beautiful green surroundings, quick drive to shops and only 50 minutes to some spectacular walks in the Peak District. Close to Alton Towers too. We really loved the big bath and sauna room in the cottage too.
We held the funeral wake for my father here and had the vintage afternoon tea. The food was lovely, service very attentive and the views looking out on the golf course were amazing. Laura was very helpful throughout.
