The food is still good but the place has deteriorated significantly. Poor air-conditioning, clogged toilet, poor room maintenance are some of the more pressing concerns. Still, people (local and foreign) keep coming back for the memories of happy times in Bali Hai. Senior Americans who probably used to work in the now closed American bases gather regularly to share jokes...

You know, I was actually very surprised by the entire experience. My wife and I came up for 4 days and 3 night. We put up her family in one of the large quarters. Let's be honest, the beach in that area is awesome, but I got in some really nice long swims at morning low tide. Her family had...

Bali Hai resort looks like it hasn't changed in three decades. Sadly, its cottages and amenities look run-down and dirty. The restaurant has improved a bit on its cuisine, and it still has a good view of the West Philippine Sea, though.

I'm currently staying here for a night only and so far, I'm not exactly enjoying it. The rooms are sooo outdated, my AC isnt even cold, not enough sockets, and my shower won't turn off! I've told the reception to shut it off but they said they didn't have any maintenance guy at night, and they said to leave it...

Old established resto-bar, pool and "aging cottages"; if only rating the Bar 'excellent' because of the friendly expats and cold draft beer, food is 'good' but the cottages leave much to be desired as they are dated and not comfortable.

Not 5 star but acceptable accommodation nevertheless. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was inexpensive and tasty. Perfect location right on the beach. The resort appears popular with German and Australian tourists.

This resort is nostalgia inducing for me as I have stayed there countless times over the years. Overall it has a lot to offer. It is neat and well landscaped, set in tropical gardens with circular benches to sit and relax. A star attraction is the large swimming pool (half Olympic size)which is kept clean at all times. The rooms...

Bali Hai is just a simple resort with a spacious garden and swimming pool. I never had to check in coz I live nearby, so this place feels like an extension of my house. I like to hang out here with my friends coz they have this restaurant that serves amazing food. The restaurant is made of bamboo and is...

Stayed for 4 nights, resaurant and gardens are ok the food was good and the service and staff very helpful and pleasant, The rooms are in desparate need of refurbishment. But pleasant enough for short stay.Nice size swimming pool; though it was cleaned everyday I was there the clarity of the water was not good.
