Comfortable room and bed in a great location in the centre of Uppingham. The family who run the hotel are lovely and the hotel has a beautiful garden to the side which would be a lovely place to relax in the sunshine. I will definitely be back.

the good points include the welcome, the coffee machine in the lounge, the comfy bed and the location, together with the buffet section of the breakfast; the room we had was quite small and there are 10 altogether so if there were many people staying then noise on the corridor right by the bedhead might be a disturbance (nb. we...

The welcome and the staff at The Garden Hotel deserve 5 stars as they were so very friendly. This combined with the great location and gorgeous setting meant that when we saw out room, we were more than disappointed. For £95 I would not expect to have such a small and uncomfortable bed (every spring could be felt in the...

Lovely cosy little hotel, many original features. Lovely host and a nice breakfast. Would be nice to sit in the garden in the summer. Nice market town position not far from Leicester. Would visit again. Recommended.

Enjoying a few days away in the area we were lucky enough to find the Garden Hotel and stay in the Club Room suite for a few nights which was terrific, really lovely. Christine was wonderful, welcoming and clearly passionate about her lovely hotel. We will be back.

I stayed here for 2 nights by myself and was very comfortable in this quaint hotel. I was very impressed by the proprietor who got up extra early so I could have my breakfast before going off to work. The fresh fruit and full English breakfast was delicious and served in a charming dining room.
