Very flexible with check in and checkout times, very reasonable price for a comfortable and clean room. Not huge for a double but fine for 1 night. Very accommodating for a gluten and dairy free diet- breakfast included in price and very substantial! Great location for visiting Leicestershire, especially Rutland water. Thanks for a lovely stay, I hope I'll be...

Not what a foreign tourist might expect. Proper pub - not a fancy themed job. Good beers. Friendly staff. Lots of locals call in. Very traditional. Food well cooked and served quickly. Try Sunday lunch.

This was our second visit to The Crown Inn in about 6 months. We visited the Goldmark gallery for an exhibition & wanted to pop in somewhere for a spot of lunch. We stumbled upon this pub & were not disappointed with what it offered. It's more of a traditional English pub rather than one of these modern bars. The...

Ideal for our purpose a good welcome by the staff and owner. Rooms well equipped and clean. Great breakfast. Pub well appointed in the High Street for visiting other pubs and Chinese to the rear. Plenty of parking space.

Decided to take visiting relatives to the Crown for a meal This was there first visit and to say they were unimpressed is an understatement. First round of drinks 2 cokes ( small glasses less than half pint £1.70), 1 vodka and coke, 1 pot of tea and a latte cost under £10. Next drinks 3 cokes, 1 vodka and...

Lovely place. Staff were very friendly and accommodating The room we were in was lovely, spotless. Loved the little touches of the teapot, the water, and plenty of milk and coffee. Breakfast was amazing. I had a vegetarian breakfast, it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. The coffee at breakfast was awesome, could have stayed all...

Quality pub in an area of wine bars and pubs with cushions!! Great beer and welcoming atmosphere. Good range of real ales and real cider. Changing beers but Everards always available. Nice for a quiet pint or meeting friends. Serves food also but I've not sampled it yet.

We went for a social event in the town and as always were really well looked after it feels like going home but without all the washing up and family pressures. Rate the Sunday lunch as the best available in Uppingham bearing in mind this is a pub and the local competition says a lot will keep going back.

I would of liked to have given this place an extra star as my boyfriends food was fine.unfortunately after my roast pork dinner I was up all night with an upset stomach.we arrived after 3 when the chef had gone upstairs for a break.don't know if my meal hadn't been heated enough or was reheated.pleasant enough surroundings.
