Following up a visit to this resort in the summer of 2019. Series of complaints and despite promises to contact us to resolve, the management have just ignored all correspondence. This place is a big AVOID
After check in decided to spend a few hours at the pool where the attendent advised no sun-beds and the only towels they had were all wet!! Great start. Decided to eat in the restuarant that evening. My wife eats little meat other than chicken which they confirmed was on the menu. When it was served it was obviously not chicken but waitress was adament that it was. When we called someone else over it was eventually confirmed to be veal! On our final night there was a wedding reception on site. We were woken at 1.0 in the morning by shouting and singing and latter by people banging on our room door. The bungalow accommodation is quite remote in places and not a great experience. The noise continued for the rest of the night more or less. We reported the issues at reception in the morning but as it was very early we were told that no manager on site and as we had to depart for the airport, someone would be in touch to discuss our experience. We have sent at least 3 e mails to this place but absolute no courtesy of even responding with an apology. Terrible place with terrible service and I would strongly suggest AVOID - it is not worth the price. Would struggle to make 3* in the UK…
If you look into the web it looks like a nice boutique hotel, but reality, it is just a 4 stars. Restaurant medium, short of staff and charm. In the restaurant you have the filling of being in a hospital, all lights are white and decoration is basic and done for local weddings. The only thing good of this place is the price. Staff on reception desk, should be trainned to be attentive and respectful with customers. They never smile and you will get the impression they do not want you there. Hospitality is all about people business, kindness, welcoming, service oriented are a must in this industry.
Lovely basic low key hotel, very nice Italian style but the female staff at the reception (I presume hotel manager) is beyond unfriendly and makes your stay irritable. After many encounters of asking for basic advice, help, directions, coffee, anything - she responds in the most awful and disrespectful manner! Breakfast is simple and could do with better selection. Tables are not set outside at all? But coffee is very good. Staff around the restaurant are all great and forthcoming
We organised here our wedding reception and we must say that we could have not done a better choice!! The location is beautifully located among olive trees, there are two possible “outside-rooms” (plus a really pretty plan-B indoor one). Food (both meat and fish) was excellent with a really high quality and professional service. We have been thrilled. A special thank you goes to Giuseppe, Giammichele and Mino. Highly recommended!
