A short drive from the center of Bologna on a nice rural road is Agriturismo Santa Maria Maddalena. Peaceful with a vineyard, open air seating for breakfast etc and a nice pool. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet. WiFi is problematic (but I found that same problem all through the Agriturismi in Italy - from Venice to Rome)

In the countryside out of the traffic 20 minutes away from Bologna You can walk / exercise In the morning at sunrise , picking some grapes hearing the birds ! At sunset just dive into the swimming pool . Just one remark : wifi band is quite poor , but so doing you can really disconnect from thé World!

We had an acceptably agreeable business relationship sending 60-100 tourists a year to this agriturismo for a few years. Of all the hotels used on the trip, this hotel consistently received the worst reviews for food, staff friendliness and general attitude, although occasionally they were brilliant and hospitable and hit it off very well with guests. Unfortunately, they kept worsening...

We (six woman from 34-45 years old) staid here for our yearly weekendtrip. Enrico picked us up at the airport and was a little late but when we arrived at the b&b we already forgotten it. Later we always ordered the pick-up 15 minutes before the actual time so we knew he was there in time 😃!The rooms are old...

This is a charming and friendly agriturismo in the middle of the country. Best to travel here by car, as it is in a rural location, you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere. However, when we stayed here Enrico and his father were happy to pick us up and drop us off as we wished for a small...

This agriturismo offers very comfortable rooms with well equipped shower rooms. There is a lovely swimming pool; the sun beds, umbrellas and towels you pay for if you have a standard room. Understandably you cannot use the room towels. We made the mistake of buying wine by the glass which was extremely expensive. We paid 5 euros for what we...

The rooms are ok and the location also. The service is less, if you get a standard room, you will be charged extra to use the swimming pool (5 euro p.p.p.d) even if it's the whole day empty. Also when there is a problem they don't let you finish your phrases. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee was strange and...

We spent only one night at Santa Maria Maddalena and left in the morning. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The dinner was good, offering some local products really worth trying. The room was clean and decorated with a good taste as well as a bathroom. The only thing I didn't like is the double bed made with two single...
