Close to the beach and harbour. The hotel got a lot of useless potential. Hope they make improvement. We stayed in the 2nd floor. The AC is okay. The bed need to change with the new one. Breakfast's menu are pancake or fried rice. Wifi access not in the entire place, only in the front office and meals area.

We chose this hotel because was one of the first choices on the Lonely Planet guide and the website seemed well made. The building is located more or less 1km away from the city centre and faces the sea. Unfortunately the structure is half abandoned with nobody taking care of cracks and humidity on walls and roofs. Also, water smells...

Made a reservation via telephone with the manager, who said he would pick us up from the pier, but didn't show up. Ended up walking there instead. Upon arriving, we were told that there was no reservation under my name and when I demanded to see the manager, he was apparently not in the island. Communication is really bad between...

We booked this hotel because it was top pick in lonely planet. That must have been written a long time ago. It has the potential to be nice but is basically run by teenagers, with the owner/manager nowhere to be seen. We booked for four nights but moved down the road to a much nicer and cheaper place after one...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in April. The hotel facilities are okay, except for the fact that there is no beach - a concrete floodwall seperates the land from the sea. The biggest disappointment in the hotel is the lack of motivation of the staff, who were only to be seen from 6pm to 10am, at which...

Although the hotel name suggests otherwise, Escape Beach hotel has no beach. The polluted 3 meter wide sand strip really doesn't count. Swimming is not an option.   Besides that, the location of the hotel is good. The suite room we booked is average size for an normal hotel room. Bathroom is small and simple. Keep in mind that the...

I stayed there 10 days in the small new building. Avoid the west last very hot room unless they have put some outside shutters in front of tbe whole windows. No hot water in our room and low low pressure during peak hours. The room was simple and good taste. Good bed. We had to request for fresh towels when...

Even Escape Beach Hotel is quite new it's already rundown. Many things are broken, the color of the furniture comes off. I could not close the door of the bathroom. Unmotivated stuff. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. Breakfast is very basic and always cold because they can get from outside in the early morning. For the same price...

I was there on June 28th,2012. I have booked one month before and the manager said I only could stay for one night because it was fully booked. And then when I arrived there the manager said I could stay there for 3 nights, which it was really nice for us so we wouldn't find another place to stay again....
