Sani Beach is just beautiful.
The warm, clear sea is on your doorstep and the numerous swimming pools means you never tire of a day by the pool. The whole resort is kept spotless and all staff are friendly and polite, every single person acknowledges you.
The restaurants and food are amazing, all child friendly with attentive staff and delicious food. We loved Macaroni, Vosporos and the Sani Porto buffet which was the most decedent buffet we’d ever seen. The creperie in the Marina is also a great place for an afternoon drink and game of cards.
Our girls loved the kids club and our eldest had the time of her life on the treetop adventure trail. They both also enjoyed singing along to the garden theatre shows in the evenings.
Highly recommend booking the sunset cruise, sipping bubbly whilst watching the sun go down, stunning!

Top tips: use the guest relations WhatsApp functionality for any requests / needs, use the club cars (golf buggies) to zip between the resorts, book breakfast at grill by the pool for a more relaxing slower start to your day, book restaurants before you come if there are certain ones you want to visit, book a sea view room (it makes all the difference).

I have just spent 11 days at Sani Beach with my wife and three children (2 teenagers and one under 10) and this will have been our third holiday here. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it. The resort is very spacious, the food is excellent (our favourite rest were “Ouzerie” “Fresco” and “Macaroni”). and the service is generally very good too. A special mention should be made to Alexandros at the Pool Grill.

There is an excellent range of activities available across the resort. I had 2 incredibly relaxing massage treatments at the Dunes D-spa with Annie. If you go then I would suggest asking for her. We also went scuba diving at the Seaworld PADI which I would recommend. Anna who helps run it is great at explaining all the options available and Dimitris who we swam with, made us feel very safe.

We had a room looking over the Bousolous beach which we have always requested as it means we have an uninterrupted view of the sunset. It is also generally quieter on that side of the hotel.

There are a few things that I think need to be pointed out though and I imagine that the resort will have received feedback from other guests:-

1. The resort has a problem with restaurant reservations. We were lucky to book all our evening meals in advance but once you get there, there seems to be very little availability at all. I don’t think this can be excused by the pandemic. A few people mentioned to me that the resort has expanded and it certainly felt there were more guests there than they had space for in the restaurants.

2. I think the full board/ half board options are disappointing. If you opt for these then your choice is a set menu at certain restaurants which we felt is limited and there tends to be much better choices on the main menu. You can use your half board/ full board credit towards any choice you make on this main menu but I don’t think it covers enough of the price.

3. Katsu is an excellent Japanese restaurant. But it is definitely overpriced. I know this might sound snobby but there are even better similar restaurants in London which are cheaper than this… and they are still expensive!

So if you’ve not been before- definitely go to the Sani but bear in mind what I’ve written above.

We stayed at Sani beach with our family of 4 (2 kids of 3 and 6 years old)
Overall, the experience was nice thanks to the staff who was really good: Maria at guest services was adorable and accommodating all our requests.

It is just a pity that not a lot of things are included in the (high) price we’ve paid.
For instance pedalo or paddle could be free of charge…
We spent lovely holidays but we felt like spending money all the time at every corner of the hotel for everything.

Rooms: clean but totally outdated, the hotel globally needs renovation to look a bit more modern and “luxury” as they want to position it, and according to the way they price it. You have the feeling of an old club med in the 1990s when you enter.

Kids club: special thanks to Sandy, Stella, Athanasia, Fani. They are all super professional and passionate by taking care of kids.

Restaurants: Paschalis at grill by the pool, Astiris at the beach side were super nice and professional as well. Only thing is that we found the buffets not super covid friendly (even if there was gloves, people are serving themselves and did not care much, sneezing, and using common cutlery for themselves)
They should really put some people to help at buffet to avoid covid spread.
Additionally, staff should not push that much water serving in the restaurants as it’s really perceived as a pushy attitude just to make clients spend more (knowing that a water bottle is 7 euros!)
As you sit, all of them keep serving you and emptying the bottles you might not notice this until you receive the bill…
Water at the beach or pool side should be free, like it is in the room. Not consistent.

Special mention to Psaroyannos, Macaroni, The Market, Katsu (even if totally overpriced), Ouzerie where the food was above average.

Rafa Nadal tennis academy: special thanks to Dionisis, Antonio, Nikitas, George, Michael, Kleanthis
Very good lessons, professional and supportive attitude, nice ambiance at the clubhouse. Great guys!

Again really nice holidays but a bit overpriced.
Would be great to consider a renovation for Sani beach.

Thanks for everything and maybe see you next year!

Sani has been our chosen beach holiday for many years, when we had small children it had great facilities, a fantastic kids club and felt very safe, as the children grew up and became teenagers they were always entertained and never bored, this made choosing our family holiday easy. So many happy memories, we often reflect on how lucky we were to have found Sani back in 2003!

Now returning as a couple we have time to spend planning our days around what we want to do. At Sani there are so many options... a morning on the beach, a nature walk in the woods, a treat at the Spa, a glass of wine or cocktail at Bousoulas bar, planning a relaxing evening meal at Ammos, Grill or Cabana, or maybe a special night at Fresco. If we want trips/sightseeing and cruises they're available, more sports/classes than any other resort we've ever been to with amazing facilities and professional trainers. It really is very difficult to fit it all in!
This time we did visit the newly styled Creperie at the Port a short walk from Sani Beach we loved the location - great for people watching and viewing the yachts, highly recommend this as a quiet place to sit in the afternoon with a glass of rose`.

Every visit to Sani is a special experience for us and this year more than ever...we wanted a restful safe space full of wellness and relaxation surrounded by people who are naturally friendly, generous and hospitable. That's exactly what we got, relaxing at Sani is easy. Thank you to all the lovely people who continue to make Sani the successful resort it deserves to be. Needless to say we are already planning out next visit for 2022.

Lovely to see familiar faces and to meet new friends who all excel at their jobs, Nina who cleaned our beautiful room every day with a huge smile on her face, Pascilis, Vasillis, Nikos at the Grill, loved the chats, Nikos and your happy team at Bousoulas always a joy to see you and everyone at Ammos who made our lazy morning breakfasts so special.

From where to start and what to say first. We have been in this hotels many times more that 8 times . Everything here is amazing . There is no Covid feeling around the resort as everything is under control all the time . All the restrictions are kept and all the standards followed. All the guests and staff are getting tested . We would like to thank all the staff and especially Mrs Elbakidou Tamara our star in this hotel her staff Andrei,Kristina,Maria,Kyrkos,Spyros and all the front office staff. In Poseidon restaurant we have the best meals with the kids and also we want to mention Lilia who makes the best omelets . Generally the staff are professionals and the management is always there to assist . Mr. Tsapadas George is one of the main managers that we know in the hotel for all these years and we want to say that he is a credit for this hotel, we welcomed us he offered of very nice room and made sure that everything will be perfect.

We chose to visit Sani following a wonderful holiday at Ikos Aria in Kos, both hotels belonging to the same company.
It is very hard to identify which is the best resort they are both very different but probably the main difference being Sani is not all inclusive which we found more acceptable.

We have been trying to describe the Sani Resort, everything appears perfect from the various hotels, the staff and the restaurants available if you use the “ dine around”. Otherwise Sani can become incredibly expensive, something other trippers have commented on.

We have enjoyed the walks around the resort centred on the marina to find a bar for lunch or drinks. Situated in the centre of the resort is the Blue Dream Camp Site and we have visited on several occasions to enjoy a different atmosphere. The area where the camp site is situated is restricted to the residents and the beach becomes incredibly busy, however they welcome Sani guests to their restaurants.

Our favourite beach is near the Bousoulas Bar where the white party is held. The beach is very quite compare to the larger beaches at Porti Sani and we never had any problem being able to find a suitable beach bed.

We were told to join the Sani Resort Facebook group by friends apparently it provides lots of information re booking restaurants prior to arrival and useful tips prior to travel. We felt this was not necessary as the Sani Website provided all the information we required.

We booked all our restaurants on arrival and had no problems in dining where we wished and at acceptable times. However talking to other guests who have visited before it can become become a problem during peak times.

The outstanding aspect for us is the quality of the staff employed at the resort. It would appear they are recruited from all over Europe, they are incredibly well trained and skilful from the beach, the rooms and the restaurants..

Would we return again? Most probably the Sani Resort as so much to offer depending on individuals budgets and where you choose to stay. If you prefer to budget carefully for your holiday and you are looking for a quality All Inclusive holiday look no further than the groups Ikos resorts in Spain and Greece.

Thank you Sani for providing a memorable holiday.

We stayed at the Sani Beach Hotel for 7 nights from the 5th - 12th June. I will start with the positives which there are many. The hotel was very nice, our deluxe one bedroom suite was luxurious and spacious, perfect for my husband and I. Our adult children’s double sea view rooms were nice but on the small side and ready for a refurb. The service in the hotel was superb, this goes for the whole resort, the staff were outstanding throughout our stay. The resort itself is a luxury gated community with 5..5 star hotels, a beautiful marina and lots of wonderful restaurants and shops. Sani caters for the the whole family, extremely family friendly with loads to do especially if you’re into sporting activities. We opted for a chilled holiday which Sani was also good for. All the restaurants we dined at were fantastic we found the dine around half board to be very good. The Water restaurant was our favourite, it was fine dining at it’s best…deserves a Michelin Star, our meal was outstanding. We hired a Sani Catamaran for the day which was brilliant if you’re thinking of doing this I highly recommend.
Now onto the only negative of our week, the mosquitoes, we were severely bitten, no exaggeration 60 to a 100 bites each. We have never experienced this anywhere we have visited previously. We think it maybe a one off freak of nature because of the weather. However we would like to point out we did not see the resort performing any mosquito control during our stay. No insectocutors, no citronella candles, no insecticide spraying. The aircon was not on in the public areas of the hotel just doors left open so they were inside too. We felt like there was no escape !
We did love Sani but our holiday was spoilt by the mosquitoes so we may not return which is a huge shame because it is such a beautiful place.

We have just returned from our 4th visit and were sad to leave.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful and unlike many places we have been to they are really very kind and understanding towards children and those with them. This really helped us to have another great holiday at Sani where we could relax and switch off. We might struggle to afford such luxury on a regular basis but its worth our while finding a way to save up so that we can return to somewhere we know that will give us the break we need.
The location is excellent and the wetlands and forest are a great backdrop for exercising or for those with wildlife interest like myself.
The food in the Poseiden restaurant is amazing. Every dish has been carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The warm welcome every morning is a great start to the day.
Thank you

The staff in the kids' club were so so friendly, immediately put our three year old at ease, and full of enthusiasm. Our son loved it and ended up going every day (as the weather wasn't great for a few days), always leaving with some sort of artwork he had created, or stories of fun and varied activities they had carried out. Thanks so much to Stella and Cleo in particular, and the rest of the team!

Rooms are a fair bit smaller than they look in the photos, so the rooms themselves don't offer the best value for money. But the actual resort is incredible, beaches are beautiful, it never felt too busy, and I can't think of a better place for kids.

Restaurant booking systems need some work - inefficient at times, with everything constantly shows up as fully booked - but I've since been reassured that this is something the hotel is working on (so hopefully by summer 2022 it will all be sorted).

The hair salon was a bit of a con, so watch out for that, although apparently this is run by an external provider. My wife had a haircut - she was casually asked at the end if she wanted her hair dried, so said yes. She was then charged €45 for the 10 minutes this took, despite being given no indication at all it was a paid service (let alone how much). When she queried this, the salon didn't care and refused to knock off the charge, and the hotel weren't able to intervene as the provider is external. However, I've received an apology for this from Sani and the hotel is apparently going to investigate the salon's practices further (it's more about the principle than the money). A minor sour note in an otherwise brilliant holiday.

We've already booked again for next year!

This is our 9th visit in Sani Beach. Our kids grow up here and they have the hotel like their second home. We are always very happy coming back and we always choose this destination because this is the best for our family. The restaurants , facilities, activities and all the standards are absolutely marvelous. All the staff are keeping all standards and the measures for all guests. We would like to thank all the staff of the hotel and especially Mr. George Tsapadas who is always everywhere all these years making sure that everything is perfect. Our favorite person , the face of the front office Ms Tamara Elbakidou Rooms Division Manager always smiling and keeping all guests satisfied and happy. Staff from reception Kyrkos and Spyros , from guest relations Andrei and Maria and all the staff . We will be always advertising this hotel to our friends and family .
The best place . We will be back next season definitely.
Thank you all Sani Beach .
