This hotel is right in the middle of 'town', overlooking the square. It's a beautiful traditional building with fabulous old features and a grandiose feel. Beds were extremely comfortable and we had a spectacular view from our room. We needed to leave early but breakfast starts at 9 but they were kind enough to give us a takeaway breakfast at...

It is an traditional beautiful "peliotirikon" (typical of Pylion) mansion, that has been renovated to offer excellent service to every guest. The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast is tradionally made, the location and the view are breathtaking. Keep i mind that there are a lot of steps!

Where to start? First, Sisilianou is an archontiko, an old traditional mansion converted into a hotel - very serene and atmospheric. The place was run virtually single-handedly by the lovely and gregarious Anna, who was a very gracious host. No wifi, but Anna let me use the office PC and printer to research hiking trail info and maps for the...

We spend there one night on the way to chorefto. The place is nice. Beautiful location viewing Volos and the sea. The staff was very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Facilities at the rooms are not the best. Missing fan to ease the heat a little, no shower blinds, no misquotes nets on the windows.

We stayed in Arhontiko Sisilianou for three nights in August. It is an old traditional greek mansion that has been renovated with taste and seems to have kept its original vibe. You can feel every detail has been thought of, and every corner welcomes you to sit and relax. Our room was on the top floor, accessible by stairs, with...

The house is absolutely beautiful, the furniture is excepcionally nice, the wooden floors and the ambient inside the arhontiko is unique. The owners are kind, cultivated and they give you all the recommendations you may need. The breakfast is lovely, generous, and of high quality with seasonal products and lots of love for the details. I spent there two nights...

We have just had 3 perfect nights with Maria and Anna and their family and can't speak too highly of our visit. We were treated like family by the most wonderful hosts. Every detail of Arhontiko Sisilianou has been restored with such beauty - and deserves time just to take it all in and appreciate. It is a credit to...

We chose the Arhontiko only a few days before our arrival, during Easter time. The location was very convenient, right above the main square of picturesque Makrynitsa, even though cars are not allowed to reach that spot. The guesthouse is a beautifully restored old building, with traditional tasteful decoration. It felt like being a guest in a house, not because...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. An amazing place to stay .Tastefully furnished and comfortable atmosphere .Lovely hostess and did everything she could to help us. The breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the Valley and the Gulf of Volos, during the breakfast (Greek style) romantic music was playing and combined with wonderful views from the terrace....

We happened upon this place while travelling through the Pelion peninsula. Makrinitsa is a lovely little village, and the Archontiko Sisilianou is right behind the central square, up a little hill. It's a beautifully restored house with beautiful rooms, a delicious, generous breakfast (including homemade jam and tiropita) served in a peaceful garden overlooking the village. We meant to stay...
