We stayed in this hotel for the weekend and enjoyed the visit a lot. We had a spacious room on the 1st floor, with a small terrace facing the inner yard. Clean, fresh air indoors, practical slide door closet. Excellent shower and comfy (not too soft) bed. Evening sun shines to room windows and terrace, but luckily room has blackout shades that prevent the room from becoming too warm. Note! Hotel organizes several activities. We participated in ”The Charms and Troubles of a Vodka-cellar”. We had an excellent guide Anne, who guided us through history of vodka in Sagadi/Estonia. Tasting included! Warm recommendation!
Great, cute place. The manor itself is not as quaint as I expected but the rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant is nice, breakfast also pretty good. The best Lowry are the gardens as they are absolutely delightful. Would stay here again anytime. Beautiful nature all around.
Situated in a nice, quiet area. Great for walking around and taking pictures. Very friendly service. Absolutely fantastic menu in the restaurant although their breakfast was surprisingly plain. Clean room but unfortunately no minibar or refridgerator.
Big positive surprise!! The svit has AC and nice bed. Fantastic walks in parks and nature. Trails nearby to walk or run. Possibility to make fire in fireplace. The awesome restaurant has something for everyone. Supercareing service, amazing food, ingredients from local vendors. So much recommended!!
This comment relates to the excellent restaurant of Sagadi Manor where we had dinner twice. Great food and the local Apple Wine is of interest. Next time we will stay there, reading all positive comments! We are French, this is our first trip to Estonia and we know we will come back.
After spending 1 day at the manor, I realized how much effort has gone into making it a great place to stay. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean amenities, lawn mowned and flowers watered. The Loquiz adventure/quiz was a really tough nut to crack. Try the black garlic icecream at the restaurant! Picture is from a nature trail close by.
My wife and I booked the manor house and hotel as the venue for our wedding, and we were not disappointed with our decision. Firstly, the manor is a fantastically beautiful building with lovely grounds where we held our ceremony. Particularly the pond to the rear of the manor building which is a lovely romantic spot. The staff on hand were very helpful and attentive, and the restaurant provided a truly top class dinner for our guests, including putting together requested vegan options. We were especially lucky to be looked after by the wonderful Tiia Traks, who ensured that our day was taken care of and was a regular point of contact for all of our requests and questions. Further, she put us in contact with some local businesses who were able to supply some of the required services for our big day. We housed our guests in the hotel on the estate, who were more than pleased with the standard of their accomodation. We have stayed there on multiple occasions and are particularly impressed with the estates commitment to ecological and environmentally friendly products and amenities. If you are just passing by, you should definitely take the time to tour the manor, which is filled with fascinating historical items both from the history of the manor itself and Estonia in general. Further, the food provided in the restaurant it top class, locally sourced produce and makes for a wonderfully delightful meal. I have not gotten around to trying the bear yet, but if it is anything like the other menu options, it will be fantastic. We can not recommed Sagadi Manor enough, and it will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we'd again like to thank all of the staff for their hard work to help make our wedding day truly special.…
We were spending my mothers 70´th birthday with a group of six adults and four teenagers. Sagadi is about an hours drive from Tallinn. The manor is beautiful, the old main building serves as a museum. We did not take part in any activities, but used the manor as a base for day trips to the beautiful Lahemaa national park and coastal villages. Both superior and regular rooms did not have much personality, but were comfortable and decently priced. The rooms got quite warm during the days so I´m not sure how it would would work out during the summer. The staff was most helpful and spoke several languages. The restaurant serves perfectly good food with local specialities like elk and wild boar. However options for vegetarians are quite limited. The surroundings are beautiful and the old buildings well kept.…
This manor house is stunning on the outside. Great opportunity for photos. The manor house is fully furnished with beautiful artifacts and interesting stories on local legends. I didn't stay over, yet I thoroughly enjoyed visiting and peaking through the windows at the natural beauty of the landscape. Nice gift shop.
This is a great place to stay for 2-3 days or more with family, also romantic place for couples. We stayed there with friends. For our family (2 adults) we took little house, it was perfect. So much space inside and so much thought out for the guests. We stayed for night - we took a combined offer: theatre with staying in manor. It was perfect experience. We enjoyed the show in the open air and after it was late finished needn't to drive back to capital. We also were lucky with weather, so we walked whole area through. Very impressive place and time. Big minus: mosquitos. there too much of them and you need to spray yourself from head to toe to except to be bitten. Expensive, could be cheaper.
