I found this accommodation by chance on the internet and was very thankful for it. This was the highlight for my parents. It was a quaint cottage with lots of character. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. Wished we had more time. The setting in the national park was perfect. Kangaroos and wallabies around in the morning and evening....

We stayed one night in Postmans Cottage and really enjoyed staying in a historic place. It was our favourite place we stayed on KI and we'd be keen to go again. The cottage was cozy and we loved the smell of the wood burner. We didn't use it as the weather was 36 degrees, but the cottage stayed fairly cool....

This is amazing value. You get park entrance included in your price. To see the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch you need access to park. The visitors centre is also excellent. It provides breakfast and lunch if you don't want to take supplies. The cottage is great for a couple but snug for 4. Bathroom is in a separate building...

We stayed for one night in the postman's cottage. This place is so adorable and a fantastic stay! We felt like we had travelled back in time, but with electricity :) The kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need to prepare meals. There is tea, coffee, salt and pepper available. Do make sure you go grocery shopping before...

We couldn't have found a better place to stay at Kangaroo Island. It was the perfect experience we were hoping for - complete privacy in the middle of the nature. Only company is the wildlife! The accomm has all facilities inside, however, the bathroom is detached, so bit challenging when it is pitch dark at night! The national park entry...

Awesome stay. Did three walks, saw heaps of wildlife right outside our cottage. Peaceful and beautiful. The cottage was clean and had everything you need to be self sufficient. The modern bathroom was great and the koala in the massive tree or front was amazing.

The cottage is comfortable and fully equipped and is a wonderful holiday location for wildlife, walks and comfort. The wood heater was very efficient, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was clean and well laid out.

We had such a fabulous time at the Postman's Cottage. It was a great alternative to camping, and very good value. We had long days exploring the island, and it was so lovely to come 'home', light the stove fire, cook up a storm and watch the animals and stars. The bathroom is a little bit of luxury. We felt...

Accommodation is basic, but we knew that before we booked. Fantastic modern bathroom. Wildlife viewing was stellar - there were two kangaroos beside the cabin as we parked, we saw koala and wallaby within fifteen minutes walk on the first night and an echidna ambled past at dusk the second night. The only negative comment is re space - there...

This is a holiday as it should be. This little cottage has everything you need - think wood fire - all kitchen gear - excellent facilities - etc and nothing you don't need - think TV etc. Great walks, great park, excellent wildlife viewing......... and there is the Chase Cafe nearby in the Visitor Centre should you not feel like...
