We booked here as we were going to a restaurant in Knowle and it was cheaper to stay than get a taxi back to Birmingham! (Booked through hotels.com) Beautiful room with chandelier, friendly owner/manager, really clean and tasty breakfast. Would recommend and stay again!

I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and exceptionally helpful who showed me to a light, warm and spacious room with a huge bed and what I thought was probably one of their best rooms (I only later found out that it was actually the last one due for a refurbishment!). The bed was comfy, the shower...

We stayed here because it's so close to the National Motorcycle Museum! We had a clean and spacious room at the back of the house. The bed was super comfy :-) There are loads of places within walking distance to go out for a meal, which we did. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Thank you - we'd certainly...

Beautiful rooms with great views and so open and welcoming. Beautiful chandelier in our room and the bathroom was nice too. Enjoyed our two night stay and will be coming again for the festival next year. Thank you so much Mary!

Achill is a perfect guest house in an ideal location. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The house is no more than a 10 minute drive from the NEC. We will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed in a family room while attending a nearby wedding and we were all so impressed with the standard of the room which was spacious, airy and spotlessly clean. Mary was so accommodating and allowed more guests to join us for breakfast. She couldn't have been more helpful.

The rooms were really nice and were clean; breakfast was yummy and rates were really affordable! I even left my camera there by mistake and Mary has kindly put it in the post! Really big thumbs up and I will...

Even though I only got to pay for a single room at the price of 45 GBP/night, I was provided with a very clean and cosy 4-bedroom room with ensuite shower/toilet and a very (very) generous breakfast which was included in the price. The management is more than happy to help you with any queries you have, be it about...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives in Birmingham and Leamington Spa....Knowle being about halfway between the two. Room 3 was a nice big room, very comfortable bed and bedding, and we certainly had no complaints about it's cleanliness. Mary was a great host - very chatty and helpful, advising us on local attractions. We...
